Hero Build Overview/Explanation

It’s surprising how far the guard skill gets you, but when it happens to be built into another skill things get interesting. Without guard taking up your b slot you can now run the all-powerful quick riposte and take advantage of all these enemy phase skills.

While lukas doesn’t particularly need more def at higher merges, steady stance4 provides a huge boost and guard at the same time, you can often take on hard hitting physical greens and go unscathed.
QR is the bread and butter, allowing two attacks from lukas which he needs because he’s slow as molasses. But this also has an up side in that your 4 cooldown aether will likely be fully charged after one instance of combat, letting lukas sustain his QR threshold. And while ignis from this set hits like a truck, it’s not really necessary and aether gets way more effective use.

Finally the c slot is flexible, but spd tactic or drive spd is a great choice for supporting the team, while atk smoke can keep the enemy from scratching lukas even more.
