The idea here is too build her like you would with Clefable in Pokemon; focus on defenses and then let the life orb do the offenses. Or in this case, Laevatein's weapon. Her attack stat is already off the freaking charts that a boon in it is rather silly. With a great defense stat, all you need to do is give her some resistance and she can wall almost everyone in the game.

Obviously, this build depends on team composition to allow her to utilize her weapon to make up for the attack bane I just gave her. However, if you build your team around her right, you'll have an unstoppable unit that will ruin some arena runs.

Notable skills to mention:

Fort. Def/Res- I'm probably bucking the trend here, but I don't care. Laevatein's stats create an opportunity that I don't think people are seeing: a non-armored tank who can hit like a truck. Laevatein can afford to lose some attack to gain a disgusting amount of defences.

Special Spiral- (for some reason Gamepress doesn't have this and Null-Follow up in the pool) You can substitute this for her default link skill since it still helps with the overall plan, but creating an endless loop of specials will make you forget about her attack bane. In addition, Dull Close 3 will protect her from most armors in the game by neutralizing any visible buffs.

Odd Atk Wave- Again, you can sub this with her own Odd Spd Wave, but Atk Wave just guarantees the extra oomf. You could also go even more all in on my defense/bruiser strategy and grab an Even Res Wave.

Glimmer- Moonbow could be replaced if you want to join me in the fight against the armor race, but any 2 round special is ideal for use with Special Spiral. You could go with Luna, Bonfire, or even Iceberg, but I'm just trying to make every hit count.

Spd/Def Seal: I'm tempted to just go with Quickened Pulse or Heavy Blade to start the Special, but honestly once Special Spiral does its thing, both seals become rather useless. Just grab a seal to patch more stats on.

The blessing doesn't matter much, but can be what balances out her walling ability.

I have her paired with a res tactic Ninian and an Atk/Spd Link Fallen F!Grima, but you're welcome to mix it up. The key is to keep that weapon fed (Harsh Command or Restore+ might be good to bring along to avoid panic ploys) to create a unit that is both an unstoppable force and immovable object.
