Zelgius or W!Tharja with little investment?

My arena core right now is M!Grima (+atk, -def) and DC Effie (+def, -spd). I like using balanced tanks so Zelgius' low res hurts a bit, but at the same time, Black Luna. Assuming I'm using them with their base kits and have no fodder, who would fit better for the team?

Do you care whether you any player phase? If not, probably W.Tharja, but if yes and M.Grima isn't using bold fighter, I think Zelgius is your only try

I don't mind no player phase because armour are so slow anyway. Thanks, think I'll try out W!Tharja then

In my opinion, Tharja. She comes with Candelabra, Close Counter, and Vengeful Fighter.

It depends on how heavily you play, and how much you intend to save for this December. After next December, we don't know if we'll ever see Winter Tharja again, so this might be your one of your last times to collect her. Zelgius however, can keep growing in strength as you acquire more merges, which will make his stats and your score better (He also scores better naturally too lol). Winter Tharja with Raourowl and a full set is extremely fun, and Winter Tharja with a bladetome and bold fighter is near godlike in its power, but even with little investment she is very fun to use. If you're ok with having a unit with no merges and facing a future of possibly little to no growth on your arena core, I would definitely recommend Winter Tharja over Zelgius. Otherwise? Gotta go Black Luna baby.
