Not sure why I speak kindly to you, but I would recommend otherwise in the future. I picked Zelgius because I like the way he conducts himself (and also as a unit). It will be nice if he wins and unpleasant to lose, but that goes for everyone. I have the satisfaction of having invested in something I believe in, and it isn't subject to the brokenness of the system or poor play from teammates which frustrated me last time (I was on the losing team three times). I would have been even worse if I hadn't picked the characters I preferred, whether as units or for their manners.
Now, however, if Zelgius wins I get the added satisfaction of having seen so clearly that I bested someone who cared only for material. And if he doesn't, I will have to settle for having stayed true to myself.

Eh, Voting Gauntlet isn't really that exciting, at least in my opinion. It's honestly just a bunch of randomness. With the addition of multipliers for the losing team, it makes it difficult to even determine the outcome in a reliable fashion.
I do Voting Gauntlet for feathers and that's it. For the most part, I don't really care who wins or loses since it doesn't really do much of anything. Thee really is no good way to implement something like Voting Gauntlet, at least none that I see. They should just give the same amount of rewards for players, no matter what team they join, so that way people aren't hounding over how many feathers they get.
Just my opinion.

I believe I do him a favour to continue looking for a level of decency we would commonly consider polite. I suppose I have the right to cease at any time, but it's not my habit and I don't think it helps the already-bitter atmosphere around here so I wouldn't make such a decision lightly.

Paradoxically, all the faultiness in the game design has helped me grow. We live in a world where where people chase vainly after money, after the admiration of empty people who don't know good from gimmick, after empty sex and stimulation which doesn't satisfy deep down. My background is in Western Classical music, and we have somewhat of an issue with competitions, even international ones, and audition processes being a bit of a crapshoot, some more than others.
Our game has an AI which behaves idiotically, a scoring system which promotes suboptimal play and excludes good units for stupid reasons, and as of a month or two ago, promotes the tossing of time to hours of mindless repetition (not that TT didn't promote this, barring the first one) instead of the strategizing and calculation that the series is about. I too started out chasing feathers. Now I'm learning a new way to play the game, one in which I can be grateful for what comes my way and enjoy spending it in a considered, investing manner. I celebrated the completion of Nowi's skillset with her first merge yesterday. If Zelgius wins I will probably celebrate again tomorrow with another merge. Waiting now for my desired +spd -HP. My peace in relation to the game grows even though the system will probably be quite broken for a long time, and I couldn't be more grateful for the insight it's helping me gain for other areas of life.

I feel the pain on being on the losing team to often, but win or lose, its a good source of feathers and we have Arvis and Lyon on this VG which im glad to have both on here. Sadly can only go for one so Arvis was my pick.
As a battle id like to hear from both Arvis and Lyon when both proc against each other: Arvis initiating "I sentence you to death!", lyon countering "well..... COME THEN!"
