Zelgius and SS4

I've heard some people doubt Zelgius's skill as a hero even Sage Master 15 doesn't think he's all that. Personally, I've always thought he was Tier 1, but what do you guys think?

I feel with a DC sword, SS4, vengeful or bold fighter - He'll be almost unparalleled.

Are you trolling? You must be joking right? Not like I care for Sage's opinion but even his Zelgius is disgusting.

I wish I was joking! I know so many people who sleep on Zelgius, but in Sage's recent review of the tier list he says "Zelgius is the only tier 1 sword unit? I don't see what's so great about him but okay"

Zelguis is broken period
Only Halloween Myrhh would contend but even then Zelguis has a dc weapon with no drawbacks

unless you run the instant black luna or spd built zelgius, zelgius is quite easy to kill with blue mage.

To be fair, everyone is easy to kill with the right counter.

Fast Zelgius builds are insane. I have a merged Zelgius and I am pretty sure I trashed a +Spd Zelg into my current +Atk one. I regret that choice after running into a crazy flashing blade Zelgius that annihilated my whole team.

I got a Zegius the day he became available, and he has been my number 1 unit ever since. Mine is even +Res/-Spd, so I can't imagine how good he would be with a good IV.
Literally all he needs is a breath skill and the QP seal, and he can wreck anything that gets thown at him on the first turn.
