Your worst run of Summoning Luck: Share my Pain

I need you to all help share my pain with me right now XD. Since the end of the CYL banner, I've sunk all my orbs into the the Crimean banner and sniping Ninian on her banner after failing to get her in the last Hero Fest. I've also been sniping Elincia pretty hard in her banner. And what has this game given to me in that time?

-Spd/+HP Oscar (killed a 4.5% pity rate)
a second -Spd/+HP Oscar
-Atk/+Res Oscar
-Atk/+Res Olwen (this just broke the pity rate on the Ninian banner for me, and btw both Olwens I've gotten to date are -Atk. -Atk Olwen for those that don't know has 23 base Atk)
+Def/-Res Nephenee - The actual only good pull from this entire mess.

I haven't even been getting many 4 star units I need such as Effie or say a +Atk Reinhardt.

I can't ever recall a run of luck this bad. So help me by sharing your stories of throwing hundreds of hard-earned orbs into the abyss.

Also going after Ninian with all the orbs since CLY.

Only got one 5* Minerva DEF+/ATK- and thats it. Ok, also got like half a dozen FCorrins. Mostly 3*.

So consider yourself lucky as hell compared to me!

I've been pretty lucky with summoning in this game tbh. I've only had 2 unlucky banners, the first summer one and cyl, but even then my off banners from cyl were good fodder.
In the first summer banner I was sniping for summer robin and got 2 5* clairs but no robin. Then I sniped for summer corrin in the second summer banner and got a third 5* clair (although i did end up getting a corrin).
My first 5* from cyl was a -atk +res Leo. I wasn't too upset because it motivated me to promote my Lukas to put it on him.
I had already chosen Lyn as my free one and decided not to pull colorless at all, but I got a ring with 2 colorless orbs and needed 4 more to increase my pity rate. So i pulled a colorless but got a Lyn. It was bittersweet. Then I pulled a +res -def Gray.
Up to this point, the highest pity rate I'd hit was 3.75%, but toward the end of cyl i got to 4.5%. Around this time, I decided to build my Fae, so i promoted a Subaki with the intention of giving Fae his qr3. But first I wanted to level him to 40 for his confession in hero catalog. Before I fed him to her, I did another summon and pulled another -atk +res Leo who I ended up using for qr instead.

Don't you love when you pull the same bad IV over and over again? I ended up pulling a CYL Lucina with +atk -spd and that's fine because she gets the job done... but that -spd always stings deep down (not that its my worst IV on a unit)... then... lo and behold, during the blitz for Neph, I got another Lucina... +atk -spd.

I would pay *actual* money for an item that would let me set stats to neutral on some of these -atk guys or -spd guys I have.

I started playing the game on the spring banner and just pulled all 5 orbs until I got more heroes and began to understand pity rates, focus units, etc. Eventually I was pulling all blue and green orbs only, with a primary focus on green. Of the focus units I got 4 Spring Xanders and nothing else.

More recent luck includes the following:
My 5% Amelia ended up a +Def/-HP Merric.
My 5% Summer Corrin was a +Res/-Atk Robin-M.
My 5.25% Nephanee turned out a +Atk/-Spd Oscar.

I have that exact same Merric. He was my second 5-star ever in the game.

Ouch. They really need to take a couple of units out of the 5 star category at this point like Male Corrin, Merric, and pretty much every bloody healer. A male Corrin popped the pity rate once on the CYL banner for me. An Abel did as well.

5-star pity breaker Abel is my #1 source for brave lances. Luke and Cain are fighting for that #2 spot.

At least Merric is usable in Arena Assault. But I forgot about the 5 star Corrin-M and 2 Seliphs I pulled on a recent banner. Ended up sending those 3 home so I try not to remember.

Havent seen a Nephenee.
15 5-stars.. all the orbs ive been saving for months.
4 Elincias (3 of which were pity breakers where there were no blue orbs)
2 oscars.

Some would say I'm lucky... and others would pass me the noose. All my orbs are gone. I have sent home so many stupid 3-star Gwendolyns, Odins, Subaki's, and Claires.

You've had the inverse of me going for you. I've been sniping for Elincia, and the Oscars all came when no red orbs came up for me. It'd at least sting less if even one of them had decent IVs.

Yep. I am grateful for my many Elincias... but I hate that seeing her makes me initially shout, "Nooo!"

Its not fair to her. She is so awesome and I hope you get one with a great IV.

-atk+Def Sonya killed my poor soul, I literally needed a beer. I'm still using her for a lot stuff, and she is sadly my best green mage. I do love to have at least neutral atk one.

Hahaha reminds me of myself, 2 -spd +def sonya, one that was a pitty summon for CYL because of no colorless for a good iv Lyndis, I had a 6% pitty rate, gone. SICK! I got 4 off banner 5 star red unit, Ogma, Karel, Lucina(-atk, +spd) and Lilina when trying to pull Celica on her banner, that was also pretty sad.

that burns! But hey, you got one (which is really no comfort, but at least a congratulations). myself, I spent a bunch of orbs on Sonya before I realized I was not destined to have her.

I never really pulled for her, she was off banner the two times, did not get her on celica's banner, I had her on summer fest or something that was at the same time. The only consolation I have from all of this is a four star klein that got instantly eaten by my cherche, a ninian as a free pull on her new banner and Elincia with only 50 orbs, a godsent! -atk, +spd, I don't care she's still good, I am hard to beat at this, most my heroes are either +atk -spd or the other way around^^ So I play slow teams that hits like a truck(gotta adapt to crap this game gives ;) !

my -atk guys made me want to stop playing this game each time. Cecilia, S.Chrom, both CorrinM and CorrinF (two of my favorite characters), Nowi, Alm (twice), Marth, Karel, RobinM, and finally Athena.

Oof. For the longest time, I just ran with Fae as my green magic user as I never got a decent Nino to promote or any 5 stars. So I sunk a bunch of orbs into the Hero Fest for Julia right away, and fortunately pulled a +Spd/-Def one.

Now red mages on the other hand... The Celica banner still burns for me. I wanted a Celica as my only red mage not Henry/Sonya/Raigh is a 4 star Tharja with bad IVs (I believe it's -Atk). Like for many, Grey sabotaged my pity rate.

I gotta say i had luck to red units over all, my worst may have been -def+hp Ike, which on itself is not that bad. Well, got -spd Saber, but thats even better, i will be eating him for Sayer Edge, and now i can do it without remorse.

I wanted to build Fae too (i will admit something there, at my start of my game i have gotten 5* fae, i was too stupid back then to check her iv, so my +atk summer robin ate her for renewal :O), but surprisingly none of them had good stats, and my units needed renewal. :P

I got an off-focus -spd +res Tharja back in the Battling Camus banner. She's been sitting in my barracks gathering dust since then. But with the potential red mage Shigure in the next banner I might use her as fodder to give him Raudrblade+, which does work out because I did eventually roll a better IV Tharja (+atk -def) as a 4* so I guess you can say I saved myself 20k feathers.

During the Ylissean Summer banner I tried to snipe for Summer Robin with a couple hours left on the banner. I think I got up to 6.50% before running out of orbs. Never got her. Needless to say, I was pretty upset.

I got up to 5.75% during bride banner trying to get Cordelia. At 12:01am I closed the app and didn't open it for a week.

The only reason I started playing again was because Ylissian summer coughed up everything I wanted including a double +def -spd Tiki summon that has killed more Hectors and Reinhards than I can count.

I have 5*ed my +def-spd Tiki too, she is bae.

Got around 10 red five stars, none of them the focus unit, but 1 normal Roy and 2 Tharjas in a row.

I tried to post a reply complaining about my bad luck with the Crimeans and with Every. Single. Limited banner. But somehow the website ate it and now I feel even worse. :P

So I'll complain about something different instead. You know how people build Flier Emblem teams? Haha, that's funny. You mean some people can actually summon viable flying characters? I've been playing since launch, and the good flying units have hated me the entire time. My best flier is SUBAKI. My Cherches and Pallas all have terrible IVs (so does Subaki, but at least he has a sapphire lance), and I've never seen a Hinoka or a Minerva, or even a flippin' Caeda. (Seriously, she's in the 3* pool, I don't know how I've never summoned her, but I haven't.) And S!Camilla/S!Corrin? You're kidding, right? I did finally, finally summon my first Cordelia a couple weeks ago (4*, of course, but at least she's +atk), but one good flier does not a flying team make, especially since three out of the four units with native flier buffs seem to be permanently absent from my roster. Sigh. (I also can barely summon Shanna, who isn't necessarily needed for a flier team, but I have so many units waiting for Desperation that the lack of Shanna is becoming ridiculous. Yet another example of a flying unit that hates me.)

Caeda isn't in the 3 star pool... Maybe you mean Palla?

Getting 3 nephenee when trying for an oscar and getting a -spd elincia, this crimean banner ive had the worst luck in terms of IV's.
