Your current unit projects?

Today, I managed to finish getting the final merge for this A!Tiki. She's still not quite done, as I still need to pull Lewyn to give her Special Spiral, but I figured I'd post her anyway since +10'ing a unit is still quite the feat despite the greater amount of feathers we can earn nowadays compared to, say, a year ago.

Anyway, I'd like to know what unit(s) everyone else is working on. It doesn't have to be a merge project, specifically--just anyone you are currently trying to build up (or have finished) and are proud to show off is fine!

Interesting. Why did you decide to go with L&D?

Several reasons:

1. I don't have Death Blow fodder; conversely, Life and Death just keeps coming home. While I want her to primarily be a Player Phase unit, I'm liking the consistent Atk on both Phases after using her for a bit. I might also try the AoE build on her (I have tons of Infantry Pulse units.), so LnD helps out there.

2. Her IV spread is +Atk / -HP rather than -Spd. While I would have preferred -Spd, I never actually pulled any Tiki that was -Spd, so I picked just the best of my 11 Tiki. (I'm the type of person that would rather work with what is given then wait around for who knows how long for the ideal spread.) I also have a Myrrh that I use alongside this Tiki, so she will reliably get Hone Dragon buffs, which puts her at 38 Spd. This isn't great by any means, but it's enough to avoid doubles against a lot of Armor units, which I see almost exclusively in Arena Assault.

3. The Breath of Fog effect offsets the -5 Def so long as she can fulfill the requirement, which I don't think will be too hard for me. (She still ends up having more Def than my Nowi.) Her Res also isn't going to be much of a problem since she's just going to one-shot any Dragon she goes against with a Glimmer ready, which should be always once I have Special Spiral.

Was going for Draug but then H!Myrrh happened.

Still going to +10 him but it'll take longer now.

Haven't gotten a Draug in over a month. The last one I got I ended up foddering as much as it hurt. His final build involves Special Fighter 3 instead of Escape Route but if I ever get SF3, H!Myrrh is getting it first.

I've been thinking of build up Draug, as well! I stopped foddering him off for Ward Armor a long time ago, but he hasn't been showing up as of late...

Yeah I pulled all red on the Halloween banner and didn't even get 1. Will wait for more reasons to pull red on upcoming banners for sure.

I like him. He's a bulky and fast unit. His only bad start would be his Atk and Res, and even then Barrier Blade exists and with Special Fighter he can easily rely on his specials. Overall one of my favorite sword units to use. H!Myrrh has basically taken his spot lately but I use him a lot.

With Gordin at +10 and Roy at +9 I've just been building up units at random who I already have. For future projects I may contiue I still have Lilina and Cherche. But now I'm also looking at Abel. I don't want to inherit firesweep lance onto him becase he may get a prf down the line. I'm gonna be using +Spd/-Res on him and go for a quad build. It just looks like a lot of fun and he carried me in shadow dragon so he deserves it. Plus his special art is one of the coolest.

Can I see your Gordin and Roy?

Damn, I didn't realize he can reach such a high Def stat...

Do you typically stack Drive or Spur Def on top of that?

Well with this build he;ll hit 45 so I usually don't need anymore than that but it's an that I do use sometimes. With infantry Pulse I run a special scum comp where everyone can activate their special at the most useful time. But I have a few Nanna manuals lying around :) ...

I’m currently working on Hana. I’m gonna try and find some better skills to give her.

If you plan to keep Firesweep you should try something other than Desp because you'll already double without being hit. Might I suggest Chill Def from Walhart :)

As strong as she is, I just hope she gets a refine one day...

Recently I finished my first merge project, Lilina, right now i dont have like premium skills on ther, eventually I´ll give her Death blow 4, special spiral 3 and an atk wave c skill

That's one scary nuke...

I also have her as a future merge project (currently +1 from when she was still 4-5 Stars), but no extra copies sadly. Though, I might go for Wings of Mercy + Hardy Bearing rather than Special Spiral.

I imagine that she's going to run Special Spiral + Glimmer once you get all of her skills? Or do you have Infantry Pulse and plan to do Special Spiral + Heavy Blade + AoE?

When the hero grails was announced and that I can +10 joshua, I immediately switched gears and started on Joshua (I was building 3 units at the same time 2 are done and the last one only needs 3 more copies so I can put aside the last one so I can finish joshua.)

I'm planning to give him fortress def/res, since he has really good bulk.

Good luck with that Joshua! I hope IS gives out additional Grails through quests sometime soon. There are a few of the free units that I would like to build up, such as Arden.

Cool Tiki build. With that kind of Atk you might want to try running an AOE special on her.

Here's my next merge project. If I can consistently hit top Rank and Tier in Aether Raids, I should have him by late February/early March. Already got the fodder (except Fortress Def/Res).

That first Eliwood has such a nice and consistent stat spread... He's going to be such an amazing unit with extra merges.

As for the AoE build, I was thinking about it, but thought that it would be too inconsistent because she wouldn't have it ready all of the time after her first fight. (3 Infantry Pulse users + Quickened Pulse gets her the Turn 1 AoE, but doesn't allow her to abuse it afterward as well as I would like.) However, with Aether Raids eventually allowing up to 5 units, I can run 4 Infantry Pulse with Special Spiral + Heavy Blade to constantly spam AoEs every turn.

Kinda doing 2 at a time right now. (Oh, and L&D Tiki? Weirdly nice xD)

Owain just needs one last copy and I failed to break my pity rate before the banner ended. He also needs a Hector, Lewyn and a Kaze.

Meanwhile, Maria is ready with 2 Lokis for that special and A slot. But needs 8 more copies. (I sent lots of healers home before thinking I wouldn't make a merge project out of them)

aaaaand at the same time, I'm kinda undecided which TT to +10; my personal fav Joshua, le great Marisa or the classic 'Will you survive' BK.

But those three won't be Arena Core, the third one goes to PA!Azura but hecc, she's seasonal.

Good luck getting that final copy of Owain! Until you fully build him the way you want to, what is he running now?

Just his Default Kit + Aether and Flashing Blade SS.

Ofc, his A and C slots are kinda useless to me since I don't like the ideas of my units being close to each other xD

Nicely done! I like idea behind the LnD on Tiki. I've actually always wanted to try a speedy version of Tiki with Wrath but wasn't sure if it was worth inflating her speed that much. Cool to see someone else trying it instead of the usual boring build.

Recently I finished up my Lucius but I'm just being really indecisive on who to start next. I've already invested into Raven who's +2 but now that grails are a thing, I'm thinking about Linus instead. And then there's Mae and Leon, but if they get the weapon refinement treatment I don't wanna make expensive investments into either of them. For now, I'm just hoarding my feathers.

I wholeheartedly agree. While I have a Steady Breath + Aether Nowi that I like using a lot, I really like variety in my units and thought that Tiki would be really good as a Player Phase Dragon.

Also, I think you should continue building Raven because of Lucius. lol (Don't listen to me if you don't want to--I think that it would be nice to have the both of them given how they interacted with each other in FE7.)

WOW I actually can't believe I forgot about that lol, yes that's perfect! I was leaning toward him anyway but that's reason enough tbh

Just an FYI if you go the Linus route it would take about 4 constant months of being top 1000 in AR to be able to get him to +10

My current Merge project is Sheena and all im waiting on is 40k feathers since my dreadful summon season on trying to get Adrift F.Corrin (rest in piece F.Corrin at this rate you aren't going to be coming home on this banner) got me the last 3 Sheena's in needed (already put one in obv)

My next Merge Project is Soleil I have the last 7 merges just just need the 140k feathers

I recall seeing that Sheena in the past, and she's looking to be really powerful. Glad to see that she's almost finished!

I'm working on my second +10 unit. I plan on giving him Atk/Spd Link (rip Niles) and Infrantry Rush, though I'm waiting to see if Mikoto gets demoted cuz I don't want to fodder my Noire.

If Mikoto gets demoted Brazen Atk/Res would probably be her 4* skill

Marth's looking really good! I've been wanting planning to make him a project--still waiting on two more copies--but I was probably going to build him to be a Drive buffer.

Sheena and Fae at +9, with standard builds. Draug at +6 (probably my favorite, Special Fighter is just insane), Effie at +4, and some legendary heroes at +3. Pretty boring stuff, but if you're F2P and want to stay in high Arena, you need at least two solid teams (for different seasons).

I actually really want to build Zephiel, however. I believe he can be an outstanding unit in today's meta. Practically unkillable with Wary Fighter and 48/34 in def/res on enemy phase. Oh, and he has 65 HP at +10! Panic Ploy literally every unit ingame except Arden... And Threaten Def 4 to boot.

I totally understand. Tiki is my fourth +10 unit, so I didn't have to worry so much about Arena optimization when I built her.

Zephiel is a really good unit, I think. He's not talked about a lot, but he's still plenty powerful. If you decide to +10 a free unit, I don't think you can go wrong with him.
