got Lord Farquan with really good IV's +spd -res and I'm trying to keep his base kit because of that. But what's a good b slot for Farquan? (exclude quick riposte and vantage from suggestions)

Guard if you want to take bold fighters on enemy phase. He'll double naturally.

Renewal, windweep, a breaker or feint skill.

Makes him more durable

Steady Posture + Lancebreaker for good measure, he wont double reliably on player phase otherwise. Best low-budget mixed phased setup IMO

With lancebreaker I think I actually like death blow. Vs swords, just stick it to them and probably straight up OHKO. 59 atk + weapon triangle advantage = 70, which Elincia, Caeda, and probably even L.Ryoma can't take; vs non-fliers it's 64 + WTA = 76. And vs lances, well, you double with 64 atk that's pretty strong.
