so I just realised AoE skills with Heavy Blade charge faster. Like, it literally counts double the charge. This essentially makes them 2-Turn specials with Heavy Blade...it's no wonder people keep talking about AoE Lolina.

I hardly encounter characters with 60+ Atk before buffs, and that's assuming my unmerged Lilina would be a part of that in the first place.

I'm using this for Trials.

Yeah because most specials trigger instead of a normal attack, and then reset the cooldown afterwards.
AoE specials trigger before the attack, reset the cooldown, and then you get to reduce the cooldown with the attack.

infantry Lilina +atk (probably any bane works)
Blade tome
AoE special
Heavy blade
Special spiral
Drive spd or close guard or whatever you want
Hardy bearing!

Blade tome effect applies to the AoE special.

Profit.

For me, the sad part (although I do at least get to save dew on it) is that blade tome works better than Forblaze+eff, even with only hone atk, because Forblaze+eff would give 6 atk on the in-combat shot, while blade tome gives 4 on the AoE special and 4 on the finishing blow and everybody that gets splashed gets hit with the extra 4 atk also. Subtract 1 for the difference in weapon mt, but blade tome still comes out on top without even an atk tactic.

I dont really care about Lolina, Ill just stick to horsie version.

Still trying to see if either Libra or Charlotte would prefer it over Wrath without either Steady/Warding Breath, Slaying weapons, or a mix of both. Heavy/Flashing Blade tends to take up an S-slot that could go for Close Def or QR for Libra...

Thanks for the read and for bringing it up. I thought the discussion was over, but I found some new replies.
