Wow, how's this possible?!

Soo...
This Effie appeared in AA and I was flabbergasted, I didn't know what to do and she defeated my whole team. We need to hunt her down, the only thing is that, I'm astonished at is how high her Atk is! Anyone thought her Atk would be this high, it's also one of those 'builds-that-you-don't-usually-find-that-common'.

Jesus Christ. I’d assume the only way to beat her is using Mages with incredibly high Attack.

Effie has the highest attack in the game, tied with M!Grima and L!Hector.

The surprising thing is why does she have Life and Death? She comes with Death Blow in her base kit. Is going up to 28 spd really worth sacrificing your defences?

With Galeforce/Bold Fighter/Armored Boots I'd swap to Firesweep Lance+ and Death Blow, personally. Brazens and Armored Boots don't particularly go so well together, though if they swapped to another SS then Brazens would go great.

That's why i have dedicated counters prepared for arena assault, something like my 4*+10 Hawkeye with def refined slaying axe and TA+axebreaker easily deals with her

These are units with the stats of a 5*+4(?) That cost 20k feathers + build costs. They can specialize in almost anything, for example I have a core of them dedicated to armor slaying, or horse slaying, or even just galeforce sweeping (raven ftw)

Any 4* that hasn't got good skills to inherit are very good if you merge them into 4*+10 with TA+breaker to use in AA, since in that mode you can scout the enemy before starting the battle, you'll just need the unit to win against one enemy and let the other units deal with the enemy in the same way. I build so many dedicated counter that it's quite easy to get the 7 wins in AA in the 740 points range, i find caracter with armor slaying weapon very usefull since you'll likely to encounter many armoreds, characters like Tobin with TA+axebreaker, Oboro with TA+swordbreaker and so on

I've run into similar Effie's before, and it was rather simple, actually.

She had no Distant Counter, so my Jaffar attacked her for most of her health and debuffed her defenses to basically nothing and my Myrrh just finished her off.

The Effie was dead and did no damage to any of my team, regardless of her ridiculous atk stat.
