Worth using this Dorcas and Ayra?

Recently pulled Dorcas and plan on training him in case Sigurd actually loses, but the IVs are Res+/HP-. I'm thinking he might be useful as a mage counter(looking at you, Reinhardt), but that loss in HP might hurt him. Is it still worth training him?

Once again, I asked these questions before but I think the answer is obvious: I pulled two Ayras during Fjorm's Legendary Banner, but their IVs are Res+/Atk- and Def+/Spd-. Apart from Swift Sparrow being a desired A-slot for some I think merging the Spd- into the Res+ is the way to go, right?

Absolutely worth it to keep Dorcas. Just gice him distant defense, and your problems are solved
I would keep the Ayra alive for swift sparrow, a lot of mages would love to have access to that.

Definately use Dorcas, The IVS aren't too bad. Ayra on the other hand, use the -atk. Her spd is more important so she can double. You can patch it up with the atk seal.

I was thinking the same thing on Ayra with the Atk- being the more useful of the two.

I hate to say it, but I hope Sigurd actually falls in the gauntlet. No offense to him, but I'm still kinda salty over one actually managing to kill Black Knight in the Arena and getting partnered with one that didn't have his weapon equipped during my run with Rhajat's side(and I actually like how Rhajat is not as obsessive compared to her home game, looks don't matter with me).

with dorcas if you put deflect magic you could survive a +10 horse emblem buffed reinhardt
also i would keep the -spd ayra as swift sparrow fodder its such a good skill not to use for fodder

I was told Distant Defense works just as well, so I'll consider it when I get enough Sacred Coins to be able to enhance the Deflect Magic to its highest.

Who would benefit from Swift Sparrow then?

As others cleared up that Dorcas is always good, I wanted to address Ayra.

My Ayra is +Def -Spd as well, which I was rather upset about after getting only two Eldigans and a Ryoma in her banner before. Here's my suggestion: keep the +Res obviously, BUT also do consider DC on her. +Res is going to be your best bet to deal with Nino or Julia, and even without DC it should still (marginally) help Ayra. Definitely not ideal, but you win some, you lose some.

I love Ayra so I'd merge her, but if not, mages like Lute and Celica would like Swift Sparrow 2. Nino prefers Fury for Desperation, and Linde likes Fury or Life and Death.
