worth sniping for f!grima on next banner?

I've heard horror stories of people trying to snipe for one specific unit, and getting others that they weren't looking for, or not getting anything at all.

During one, I tried to snipe for Sanaki, but got Siegbert and L!Ike instead.

If you're willing to go through to classinc B8 banner problems, then I say go ahead and snipe, but maybe you should have another color in mind in case you don't get any, or a lot, of colorless orbs during your summons.

Don't snipe for one color. I did it with P!Azura, and it was baaaaaad. I started out on a roll and pulled 2 P!Olivia and then stopped. I got tempted, and kept on rolling with around 190 orbs. I then pulled 2 Inigos before pulling a single P!Azura at the end. Now, that was only with 2 green units sharing the green orb. Here, we have 3 units, so it'll be much worse. Another time, I tried sniping blues for Delthea, and it shared colors with Mathilda, and I pulled only a single Mathilda with 120 orbs. The odds are not in your favor, and if you push your luck like me (multiple times), the game's going to show you the harsh reality of probability. I learned my lesson, so I hope you don't repeat that same lesson.

I practice a method where I only snipe when the 5* rate increases some. I'd summon all orbs for the first few summon groups, and then if it reaches around 10% (4 failed summon groups for the 8% banners) I might snipe to avoid getting pity-broken by a suboptimal color. That said I only summon in banners which I am lacking/need better IVs of over half the units.

I tried sniping FGrima last time. I ended up with a 5+3 Halloween Sakura. At least she turned out to be pretty good...

Sniping for a specific character in a legendary banner is a very hard thing to do, even more if you don't want the other 2 that are sharing color

I can confirm that sniping just for one color is awfull with this kind of banner. I aimed for LGrima and Zelgius in that time spend around 160 orbs to get 2 H!Nowis (both with lackluster iv) L!Ike and Brave Lyn. After that i started another summoning session to get my pity rate to 10%, got nothing this time.

ill be the other side and say sniping on legendary banner is so much fun. unlike sniping on other banners where u can be pity broken, legendary banner guarantees banner unit. meaning u can get Hjakob for fodder or merge, genny for wrathful staff even if u dont need it now u can always stockpile her just in case healers get a major buff again or a new op healer comes out without wrathful staff. i usually pull on legendary banner if i have 2 unit in 2 different colors and 2 unit i dont mind getting in one color. so in my case i wouldnt mind genny, nvr got jakob, and want better iv robin. i would pull cos green has Lyn, nvr got henry and need better IV inigo. i dont pull if there is a unit that i absolutely dont want to get. say for example mist was in colorless, i wouldnt pull even if the other 2 was really worth it.( unless seasonal units like olivia then maybe)

If you want one of the characters and not the two that share the color, then it's best to avoid that color. Otherwise, prepare for potential heartbreak.

This banner, I'm dodging red unless if green or colorless don't show up. While SMEirika would be nice to have, I have no interest in Fallen Celica, and nobody that really needs LIke's Warding Breath.
