Worth it to inherit Distant Counter on Ephraim(Brave)?

Hi sorry for the noobish question, I'm relatively new. I chose Ephraim as my starter and recently pulled Hector. Just wondering if it's worth it to inherit Distant Counter on Ephraim? I heard his base kit is good enough as it is (I changed close def for the seal version and running death blow instead). I also read a guide saying to use DC with Wary fighter and QR, so I'm getting mixed opinions. What do you guys think? Thanks a lot.

DC on neutral Ephraim is soo fucking good fam. A hone armor buff gives him enough speed to ignore doubles from some mages and allows him to retaliate without dying.
He doesn't really need death blow because his attack is so high though.
If you wanna build with DC then change his Seal to Distant defense or a double stat boost seal.
