I'm upset that I didn't get a free Tharja, but I'll take a V!Ike over Azura, so eh. I guess.

Is anyone really surprised? Ike is Fire Emblems poster boy since his game came out.

W!Tharja actually came pretty close if you look at the results.

As for being poster boy, I'd say he got popular since Smash.

Ah well, at least I can fodder off Warding Breath to someone. I'm a bit disappointed that VL Ike doesn't also have normal Aether, since that'd make him more useful for inheritance. All he's got is Warding Breath and I suppose Tactic, compared to Winter Tharja with Close Counter, Candelabra, and Vengeful Fighter.

B8% is a lie, lol. Summoning for a particular red character on those banners is like a 2% chance.

Ike is ANOTHER SWORD UNIT, and is not the best at all, along with very mediocre fodder being warding breath and def tactic. HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE AETHER. IF U WANTED AN IKE, WHY DIDNT U PICK BIKE, WHO IS A BETTER COLOR AND HAS BETTER FODDER WITH STEADY BREATH AND AETHER. Y DO IKE FANS HAVE TO BE SO RETARDED

While I do agree, the argument isn't necessarily the same since there are WAY more sword units compared to red tome units.

Sword: 54 Lancer: 38 Axer: 29

Yes, the number of Sword users is much larger but let's not forget: We don't have many distant counter user in a weapon... but the point i made was: respect the other's vote.
About argument, we can perfectly fine used for another color (axer, blue tome) because we have more than 10 character per weapon , and this is too much if you think about that... and for what reason we complain? It's a free 5* hero, this is great for anyone...

lol I actually split votes among Hector and Ike the first round, with one vote for W!Tharja. I voted for each character once during the last round, except PA Azura cuz I missed a day of voting.

So screw you for trying to ruin my happiness for finally getting one of the most hardest to obtain units in the game. I spent more that 250 orbs on the first B8% trying to get vanilla Ike, and I am hella glad I won't have to live through that hell again.

I'm happy too! He's the first Ike I will have so I'm fine with that, I'll take it like a birthday gift. :b

I'm fine with this. V!Ike is a fine unit, and having an extra fodder for Warding Breath seems completely ok to me. I pulled Grima Robin recently and that is a perfectly good A skill for him.

Still don't give the smallest of fucks, so free Warding Breath for Adult Tiki or F!Kamui or something.

Great! I have plans for him. Going to pair him with my GRobin as he has the earth blessing for an enemy phase duo.

Seriously, this will be my only other legendary hero besides Fjorm, and we’ll need them for that future event they hinted at in the direct. Even if you already had him, you still get a free merge, and warding Breath is still a useful skill for fodder. Not much reason to complain tbh. Tharja will be outclassed in a few months anyways.
