Winter Ephraim’s viability in Armor Emblem?

I run an Armor March team with Pivot but Ephraim’s skills require that he be a space away from allies. What should I do?
Edit: Should I give him Armor Boots and Noontime or Sol? I don’t have Aether fodder atm. He is -spd +hp.

Armor march should be sufficient. He just needs to be not adjacent, so even moving one space away from an ally grants him the bonus. All your hones and goads should stack, too. He will probably be a monster.
