Winter Banner: Who are you going to summon for?

Honestly, I initially planned on skipping this winter banner since I believed no FE8 units would show up. But now that Winter Eirika is a thing, that changed my mind.

I'm going to PURELY aim for W! Eirika since she's my favorite FE character overall. What about you? I'm curious about what you're aiming for in this banner and why or if you're going to skip it. Looking forward to reading your comments :)

Ephraim.

I think he's accually quite unique as an armor unit. And seems nice for a mixed team.

I was thinking about going for him since he's an FE8 char, but I have a Brave Hector and with his distant counter skill, I don't have the incentive of going for blue armor units, even if it is Winter Ephraim.

True, none of these units are groundbreaking. Exept maybe Eirika, but she doesn't have a unique staff anyway, and a fine but tame niche.

Honestly I really like that this banner is tame, pull if you like something but it doesn't feel like super pull bait.

Saving up for beasts is a good choice.

I have a low possibility of skipping this banner as Eirika’s in it. I might go for everyone.

I would say be open to all of them if your free summoning. You don't wanna get duped when you want Ephraim and no blue stones appear. Good luck with it :)

If I do decide to summon I would go for Ephraim since he has a prf weapon and a viable merge project for Arena. His play style seems more interesting than B. Hector to me as well.

You're right about that. Honestly, in terms of standard skill set, Winter Ephraim is interesting and great, but he needs to be a "loner" to maximize potential. I like brave hector since he has a distant counter and can get tons of defensive buffs from armor supporting allies, benefitting his distant countering. Good luck with getting Ephraim though :)

I'm curious who will be in the new years banner. If there's no one that catches my eye then I will keep saving for RD banner in Jan.

Good luck if you're going to summon. If the winter banner last at least a month, then you've got time to decide during the new year banner. But then again, Winter Fae looks like a tanky unit/defensive supporting unit, so it's a tough decision. Good luck with the decision.

Yeah it might last until the middle of Jan...i think lol Your right I have a lot of time to decide. I have OG mryhh, C.Chrom, Amelia, H.Dorcas, and M.Grima for green armors but I wont mind having another one. With 300 orbs If I do go for her, I hope I will have enough for Tibarn and hopefully Lethe (If she is in the banner).

Eirika is the best unit in this banner.
Ephraim is such a joke, being an armor with that solo specialty.
Fae is OK, but I dont really like her.

Ephraim is going to be a good unit on tactics teams.

I hope his res is good, if so he can safely be pushed in danger.

not really sure.
even with 50 def, he can only function vs red if you give him boots, because any blue with over 50 atk will pretty much remove his boots, and then he became a punching bag.

There are a lot of ways to work with the 1 movement.

Ephraim doesn't need movement if the enemy comes to him

its not even glorified. its just an atk refined slaying lance.

well let's see how his stats do for him.
you can make him enemy phase just like all other armor with DC, but then he will get cornered easily, because he cant run with armor march.
meaning he will take much more extra damage because of that.

I might go for Fae, mostly since I don't have M!Grima. If I go for the others, it'll be for fodder. Not really feeling this banner all that much, tbh. I'm mostly gonna go for Winter Tharja (and hopefully a Winter Lissa with better IVs).

Good luck with your summoning. I'll likely go for Winter Tharja as well, seeing she is an armor unit built with close counter.

No orbs after 3 pity breaker on the ophelia-eir etc... Banner.

I think that i won't spend any orb on regular banner in the future.
Keep my orbs until demotions or for legendary banner

I'm aiming for both twins. Ephraim is my favorite FE character and Eirika looks so cute, plus I love healers. Fae has the least priority for me, I might try a bit for her but I'm honestly over the whole armored little dragon girl thing.

I'll use my free summon(s?) trying for Ephraim, secondarily Eirika. But I absolutely don't plan to use any orbs on this banner. I don't have any special liking for any of these characters, nor do their designs or art do anything for me. I don't actively hate any of them, however I do resent that A) they're all armords that don't make sense again, and B) we get another banner with only one guy and two women (three if you count the TT unit). Maybe I'm actively boycotting this banner. Maybe it's just that I have literally zero interest in spending any orbs for any of these units. Either way, it's a win for me because it means I can keep saving for hopefully better units later.

Eirika's definitely my priority. I've been waiting for an Armored Healer. Might try for two to add to Mia's staff collection. Fae will prolly be next. I'm hoping her Res is good so she can be a Res tank variant to M!Grima, and I could always use more Armor March.
