Why was Nowi taken out of Tier 1?

Just curious about the new tier list update. Nowi seems to me like the strongest blue unit in the game, and I can't find any notes on the tier changes.

Probably because Tiki got a refine and she did not. And they all got powercrept by SY Tiki's steady breath, dragon effective, weapon that they can't inherit.

Which I understand, but as far as blue units go (not even just dragons) Nowi is still the best. If the new summer Tiki had been blue, the tier drop would have made complete sense. But since the new Tiki is Red, I don't know why Nowi would drop a tier as a blue unit. She fulfills her role better than any other blue unit, by my estimation. And I prefer her over Hardin because she's also my B!Lyn bait, which Hardin can't do.

It looks like no one in her score range is in tier 1. Every unit in tier 1 can score better thanks to PRF weapons or higher BST. Also looking at the units in tier 1, she doesn't really counter the meta.

That said, every unit in tier 1 is a 5* exclusive, at 5*+10 she's going to be a monster compared to the unmerged tier 1 units. It's definitely questionable that she shares a tier with Karel and Lief.

Eliwood(blue armor) has no merge nor IV and still tier 2, can you explain? Nephenee does not score more than Nowi, nor does Eiphraim, yet they are tier 2 too... tier list does not make much sense

The 7/12 tier list patch notes shed some light on the reasoning. Though it still isn’t clear to me besides some of what scary_tiger stated.

Looking at the tier list is pretty pointless, it's super flawed tbh, just go with your instinct, but still think wisely, not all unit are equal still
