Why terrible luck?!?!?!
I've been going for Hardin and Robin on this banner, and I keep getting pitty breakers. Peri, L'Arachel, Camilla, and now Merric. I'm F2P and I spent well over 100 orbs on this banner, and 4 5 stars for the cost is good, but why such terrible pitty breakers? Not even good IV's... Why don't they clean up the 5 star non-focus pool? L'Arachel is the only one of those that has any reason to be there still, as she's pretty new. Anyone else frustrated with IS?

I mean I do get both sides on this one. Getting 5 pity breakers in a row sucks, but getting them within a 100 orbs is incredible on the other hand. It's one of those situations where you can't complain about bad luck, cause it just simply isn't, but you are still unhappy cuz u didn't get what you wanted.
I would lament your "good" luck in that situation instead. A person can only have so much luck, and getting lucky where you don't want it means karma will strike you hard eventually.
On the matter of the pool, I also think the pool needs a do-over. But that's a difficult thing to do, some people might still lack a Camilla or Peri or Caeda or whatever unit you think doesnt deserve being in the pool right now and get mad if IS removes them. I would therefore propose something like a "summoning blacklist": You can manually pick units you want to remove from the 5* summoning pool (or downgrade them to 4*) by using specific limited items you can get by participating in events or new upcoming game modes. This way, everyone would be satisfied without breaking the system.

The "Blacklist" idea that you propose is interesting and I would be all for it though IS would never go for that. As for people getting mad because they don't have a certain unit, why would they? Those units would all still be available at 4 star and with a far higher chance of pulling a 4 star unit anyway there's still a great chance that said person would (eventually) pull one. A straight revamp of the 5 star pool is the most likely solution though IS seems pretty tone deaf to its playerbase in regards to that so it's unlikely to happen anytime soon (if ever).

Whoops, I think I was whining as much as he was. I'm really not even that upset, I haven't had this bad luck for a while and it's bound to happen, I just meant that, comparitively, this guy has nothing to complain about.

While it is true the frequency at which you were pulling 5 stars seems to be good your frustration highlights the bigger problem. It is way past time IS cleaned up the 5 star unit pool. Not only is the pool of 5 star units a little too big but there is becoming a sizable separation between the quality of some of the units in the pool. Lets face it the likes of Merric, Hawkeye, Peri , Jakob, etc... have no business being at the same rarity as many of the past units and new powercrept ones.

I feel you here, whilst I managed to pull 2 Grima Robins which is all I really wanted (wouldn’t have minded a Hardin or Celica though) I pulled all kinds of weird and wonderful 5* - Young Roy, Raven, Myrrh, Lilina, Tailtiu. Was a strange pull, but I did get a +def -res Grima so I can’t complain.
