Why it is my opinion that the choose your hero voting thing was mistake

I'm sure the community will get over it in a few weeks. It's still a free unit either way, and if you don't want to use him, you still get an excellent skill for free. It's a win-win.

You're not alone on this. This vote could have been handled much better by the community if we got to choose between the four finalists. The thing is, IS is releasing a Xenologue featuring the winner at the end of this month so they kind of needed a single winner.

Sorry, but if people are quitting because the FREE 5* they got wasn't someone they wanted, then they weren't invested and interested in the game in the first place.

But I will agree. They should have either done it to where everyone can choose their own 5* (can be from a group of units they pick themselves) or discreetly ask over a survey on what people would want, and then distribute it after so much amount of time has passed.

This was just horrible execution.

There was gonna be disappointment regardless who won, they really should've let us choose who each person wanted out of the top four. Hopefully next time, next year, can be that way.

As you said would have really eased up the tension within the community with the option to CHOOSE who you would like for free. Was badly surprised since I voted for Tharja but mentally prepared myself for Ike to win. On the bright side I at least got another free legendary to bring to use in the new content in march.

With that said hope IS realises their mistake and actually allow us to choose which of the 4 we want for free in CYL2

I agree that it should have been individual choices or one of 4 but if people are so salty that they would rage quit a game cause they got a FREE unit, then good riddance lmao. Dropping money on Ike was your decision, sucks to suck.

People need to grow up and learn that they don't always get what they want. If they are complaining about a free 5*, then they can leave, and the community will be much better and more wholesome without them.
