Why does Nintendo hate Eliwood?
He is the only Lord from burning blade that is terrible and Lyn and Hector both have 3+ Versions now, and the only one that isn’t 5 Star exclusive. In fact I believe he is the only lord in any of the series to be available in heroes as a 3 star.

I mean... his base kit isn't really what you should pay attention to on what makes a unit good. M!Corrin doesn't have the best base kit either, yet he can be made to be extremely powerful.
And Blazing Durandal boosts Eliwood's neutral attack stat to 50..
He has decent speed and pretty good resistance...
And BST shouldn't dictate whether a unit is good or "terrible" lol.

And Roy, now that I think about it. Maybe, but I've seen some pretty stellar builds for him (today, in fact). He can make a much better DC unit than anyone in the Falchion line, and refining Durandal for it's Blazing Durandal is pretty good since he has a pretty amazing attack stat at high merges. Also, he has access to cavalry buffs, whereas most of the other lords can't.

Eliwood, just like every other unit in the game, has his own uses and purpose and at least has more options on what to do thanks to the Blazing Durandal refine B!Roy introduced.
If you ask me, the original Lyn is the worst of the Blazing Blade trio simply due to the factor of lacking any solid attack.

He's not bad though(got a plus speed -def one I want to build, but b roy is jealous so I put it off lol), the only thing I dont like is his art.
It's simply because lyn and hector are more popular, while I also think its unfair that's what it comes down to,even I was pro hector in blazing sword.
