Why does IS hate F2P?

If you have been playing since the beginning you should have all merged +10 or at least one with how many feathers people have gotten. All you need are 11 3 star dupes. I guess it depends what you play for, for me it's staying top 1-3k in tier 20. I have no problem doing so with my +10 Catria,Camilla etc. I have been building since the start. Try to find a 3 star unit that you love and just build on it with feathers. They can rival any 5 Star only unit. And any unit you build up yourself with super merge will be far more powerful than any unmerged, nearly impossible or very rare to get duplicate summoned unit. For example, my Spring Camilla is +3 and I love her to death but her Rating is so low I prefer the free Camilla since she's far more available and shoots my arena score up to adequate levels being a +10.

If IS hates F2P players, they wouldn't have been so generous with free orbs or even bothered to introduce the pity rate mechanic. 150-300 orbs are distributed every month and that's a lot! I'm a F2P myself but managed to acquire many good units so it's all down to your orb spending habits and luck.

Really, IS doesn't hate F2P players in the slightest and you just have bad luck. May lady luck smile upon you next time, though!

You have to learn to budget. I tend to save orbs new unit banners and maybe spend a couple on some banners with units I want. Even then, it a gacha game. It's luck of the draw. I watch Phoenixmaster1 and his luck is out over the place and he is P2W. Then I use my free summon on the Legendary and pull a +SPD -DEF B!Cordelia. I'm not totally F2P, but I'm not extreme either.

Until you can get what you want, make what you already have the best it can be.

IS does love people who pay(you know, server cost, supporting the creator, and whatnot), but those who don't have a fair shot and that's all you can ask for in a gacha game.

feel bad for you but disagree. Playing since the beginning of FEH and have like 80% of the top Tier Units or at least a better Option for that spot. F2P and in average you can get about Focus 1 hero per new banner (no re-releases for skills included) Just stuff like CYL, Event and Legendary Banners.
My Focus is different from Narse. wanted to get and work on the heroes I want instead of super merging some wierd 3 stars. Now I start aiming for T20 and staying there

Well, sometimes i spent some money to help the game(20 ~ 30 dollar's each 2 month because i wanna help IS to keep the game, it's not free to maintain the server).
My luck come sometimes too, i get sigurd with 11 orbs, takumi 9 orbs, ryoma 20 orbs and ike free summon, but in other hand, i spent 170 orb for dorcas and mia and... well, not good... same with elincia and azura.
Just keep the faith, guard many orbs (300 orbs) and pull.
