Why do people like Eirika?

This isn't a hate question. I'm just curious on what people like about Eirika. I've yet to play SS, but from what I hear, she's a pretty decent character. But what I want I want to know Eirika fans, is why is she loved
Just want to know all of the opinions on her.

She's kind and her personality is presented as quite endearing. Idk, I just think she's neat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also because of how I think the writing sorta screws Eirika over in relation to how the losing of the Sacred Stone plays out differently in the different routes. Eirika's reason for having the stone snatched from her is portrayed in that scene as a fatal flaw (tbh i feel like this is the main reason that everyone hates her) while her brother's reason for having the stone snatched from him is seen more like "damn, we'll get him next time". I just get the feeling that the writing kinda screws Eirika over sorta like how Radiant Dawn basically sets the player up to hate Micaiah

Hmm, yeah I've heard how much people hate her as well. For no apparent reason that is. I hear that because of it, people don't look at the many good parts about her. Like, as you said, Micaiah.

I kinda like her because she's someone not used to war, knowing that doesn't suit her. But still trying her best to fight, because it's the good thing to do.
She's might be one of the braves lords in fire emblem. Not because she faces the strongest enemies. But because she's simply not suited for war, yet going on anyway.

Also I like the dynamic with Seth, and how she's able to put a lot of trust in him, yet doesn't blindly follow all his advice (if Seth had his way, Eirika wouldn't get out of Frelia castle after chapter 1)

Aside from that she's just a very compassionate and good natured character. Just read a few supports, like the one with Forde.

I love Eirika's supports, especially her ones with L'arachel and Tana. And her B Support with Innes is gold. "I can't help you with your image problems, Innes". She's so sassy and I'm here for it

Yeah, it's too bad her sassy side doesn't really come forward in the story or in heroes that much.
Her teasing Forde when he remarks about her combat skirt is also fun.

I just really feel like sacred stones has the most well rounded cast of characters.

yeah I have no idea. She's "prettier" or "cuter" than she is sexually appealing, to be honest.

Becauuse she is innocense, she is pureness, she is kindness.
She has a tragical relationship with her friend Lyon, and a beautiful romantic relationship with her general.
She also had some relative bad desicions. But boy, she keep fighting her best childhood friend on two last maps and can even finish Lyon life if you want.

People just hate because she is "naive". She is not for me. She is like every single person should be on this and that both words. Then wars would not exist. She would also be the best f*king queen of all Fire Emblems.
