Like, it would make a lot more sence, no? Love Abounds did it by just calling their units LA. Why are these ones suddenly called Valentine's when Devoted are their title for the banner? Like, it's a bit odd, right?

It is a bit odd, if I had to guess it's because LA is much more distinctive, and since it's a 2-letter combination, people are gonna know exactly what you're talking about, where as D!Greil or D!Ike just doesn't seem to have the same ring. Then again, B!Ike is a thing, so maybe this reasoning holds no water...

actually, they call him V!Ike too, so basically I have no idea

I'm choosing to call these units "Devoted" because these units aren't actually Valentines. It may seem like it at first glance, but based on the characters and the how they know each other, it's not. [And LA last year was actually like Valentines, too.]
