Why are dragonstones called Magical weapons?

They aren't affected by magic buffs or debuffs? i'm confused.

Because they 'normally' hit units in their resistance.

Or at least they DID until the whole "all ranged units are hit in their defense" thing existed.

I guess it can be confusing in some cases. The only thing needed to know is that magic = tome (for gameplay purposes).

This. Magic equals Tome. Healers are Staff, all weapons their name and dragonstone are dragonstone, not considered magic, even tough it hits for resistance by default.
