Why Am I Not Getting Raided?

I put together a pretty solid defense for Aether Raids... But very rarely does anyone ever attack me... I'm at AR 14 at the moment, so it's not like I'm too low to be raided. The last time I have a record of someone attacking was 2 days ago. :(

When people see my setup, do they just surrender? That costs them their game for the day, right?

Its so frustrating, I invested like everything on defense, instead of offense, but I never get to see it play out!

Really good/bad luck I guess. At least you're not losing any lift from potential failures.

I think the matchmaking is just kind of random. This week for me:
day 1: 4 defences
day 2: 1 defence
day 3: 0 defences
day 4: 0 defences
day 5: 0 defences
day 6: 4 defences

The higher tier you are, the less you get to raid due to aether cost. The same applies to your attackers. So just less battles happen in general. Other than your free raid, you don’t get enough aether per day to battle.

I'd rather be not getting hit than getting hit. Every single time my 20 hours expires the first person to hit me gets a flawless run. Losing that 80 lift over and over again is annoying.

I'm not sure what would happen if someone hit surrender. I'd assume they'd lose the Aether of that battle, but what's the point of surrendering? If you lose in battle it's the exact same thing.

Lucky you. If not the defence lift loss i could make it into tier 14 already (i'm missing 320 points).
