Why IS?
I really don't understand why is keeps on doing this. They keep on adding skills that are limited for infantry and armored. WHY??? Cavalry are by far the weakest move type set thanks to their BST and their limited usage for skills They cant use steady breath, they can't use wrath, and they cant use the new special spiral. Above all these weaknesses their arena scoring is weaker than all other move types. I think IS should really do something about this. If only we can get new skills that are limited to cavalry similar to how fighter skills are limited to armored. OR they should just allow use them to the skills I mentioned earlier, What do you guys think?

No I don't use horse emblem. I just wanted to see Ares using the special spiral skill (Aether in one go). And seriously building horses is always the least creative thing to do. At least fliers have their own skills like aerobatics and flier formation. Characters like Broy, Siegbert and S.Cordelia would love to have wrath. Characters like W. Reinhardt, Sigurd and L. Ephraim would love the breath skills. Its a shame you cant give them those skills .

I think IS limits the skills BECAUSE Cavalry is the easiest movement type to use in the game. cause they can get closer to the enemy AND can get out of trouble if needed(Flyers can do this as well but not the same extent as Cavalry), and this has been a problem for many players WHEN against cavalry(that's also why there are trenches now), if IS made strong skills available to Cavalry it would be Mayhem, those who hate cavalry will hate them more and those who love them will love them more making a divide that already exist in the community even bigger.
I'm not Dissing Cavalry, IS has to Balance the game somehow and this is what they thought(it's not the best solution but at least they're doing something about it)
But regarding arena It's just how the arena scoring works now so I hope to god that IS will fix it so I don't have to see Armored units every time I go to arena.

A bit quick to forget, aren't we? Not so long ago cavalry was so far better than all other types that trenches had to be implemented just to give non-horses a chance.
And obviously, it still want enough.
Now horses have finally fallen from grace, so just give them some time, once armours become too good they still give something else to the other types.

So we're gonna completely forget how Cavaliers are super easy to buff thanks to Hone Cavalry and Fortify Cavalry being easy to access, and we're also gonna forget why trenches were added in the first place?
Special Spiral did not need to be on cavaliers, thank Naga they restricted it.

I thought about this, and actually I think the balance is somewhat decent right now between the four movement types.
Armours getting free doubles just for a B-slot or on their weapon, thereby able to dual phase easily, and loads of special charges on top of having tons if stats is more than a little broken. But they can find themselves trapped in disadvantageous matchups from not being able to maneuver enough, which can force them to take a lot of damage or even kill them in some cases.
Cavaliers are the opposite. Hone cavalry is very strong, and their ranged units have a LOT of firepower. They can pick their matchups quite easily because they also have a lot of ranged units, and it's pretty easy for them to squeeze you if you have to protect a B.Cordelia or Soleil or flier or something like that. There's little to nothing other movement types can do besides try to bait them before they get squeezed.
Infantry have their own skills, most of which which armours can potentially use also but which they tend not to be as good at using (wrath and flashing blade, for example) which help them fire off really destructive specials to compensate for lack of emblem buffs. Now we have infantry rush and flash as well as infantry pulse, which further reinforce this way of competing in firepower. Infantry is also the class with by far the most daggers, mages, and manaketes as well as the most available of these types. Since most units have less res than def, infantry also uses this way to increase damage production. Lastly, it's a bit easier to tank with infantry than with other classes because the only anti-type weapon is poison dagger and it has 5mt. If infantry gets OP, there's no armoursmasher to pull out against them.
Fliers don't really have flashy skills, but like cavalry they can squeeze you by outmaneuvering if the center isn't open (terrain), and they tend to buff even more than cavalry by stacking goads, plus they have dancers, one of which isn't even seasonal. A lot of them are capable of galeforce builds, which demonstrates how much firepower they have without needing to spam specials.
The only big problem I find in the balance is armours being able to dual phase despite their low spd, which really gives them too many stat points for atk, def, res, and even HP.
