Who's using Jaffar in this TT?

Who's with him, and how is it working out?

I'm currently using a Linus team and doing fine. I want to use Jaffar, but looks difficult without some very solid enemy phase units

I would, but I don't have a Jaffar. T-T

I just went with Nino and Karel, supported by Lene and Ninian. Not as smooth as I'd hope for so I will mix it up a little, I picked Karel really to just get him some HM and SP since I don't otherwise let him out of his room much.

I should level Linus up and use him... but then again I'd need to 5* him and those feathers have another target. You run him as 5* right?

Yeah, I spent feathers on him because I think he's a really good unit and I don't really have a player phase axe with def. Anna is good against dragons but struggles a bit with lances and axes.

I'm using him along side with V!Ike + support with Corrin (M) and Soren.

Now i'm waiting to another TT, i already make 50.000 points.

pretty much unstoppable! if you have a def boon it helps a lot but mine is atk boon. Its a mixed phase build.

Attack into a unit that cant counter or a tome unit and one hit will get him into vantage range and anyone that can reach him dies and anyone that cant might still be heavily damaged.

watch out for tanky defensive units and firesweep weapons. i use vengeance but i also have miracle, moonbow, glimmer, growing light, growing wind, and blazing wind on him

I have all the materials to do that, but I prefer to do the vantage killing with someone else with 53+ atk. How do you catch everybody in the savage blow when some cavaliers can rush in from so far?

just keep retreating and they'll be grouped up well enough and any unit that isnt close enough is too far to attack anyway. if someone isnt caught in the savage blow, jaffar can still take them down with little to no problem unless they have lightning breath, wrathful staff, or a DC prf so just get him out of range and deal with it later

for cavalry just finish them off with a dancer or one of your other units // use that cav to get jaffar into desperation range

Thanks for encouraging me to try this. I took the risk investing 200 dew and 70 coins for sb2. I might not take sb3 for a while; I don't feel like 2 dmg is tipping many situations. Not using a dancer or close counter right now, but I put vantage on both Jaffar and reposition FGrima. My first ever attempt at this strategy, and I'm surprised how well it works even when they have stupid amounts of HP. It's quite fun, too.

I did get massively screwed on one map where exalted Chrom was right behind firesweep+drag back Roderick and terrain blocked me from jumping in with Jaffar. One of those maps where they insist on getting the first hit on you.

Atk-spd+ Jaffar with Windsweep double savage blow and upgraded dagger with 2 dancer(PAazura and BNinian) and Elise. Jaffa just picks everyone off with his amazing spd and chipping everyone around. Was fairly easy on hardest lvl

I've been using him, +Spd -HP, with his effect-refined Deathly Dagger, Draw Back, Moonbow, Life & Death, Windsweep, Savage Blow, plus Savage Blow seal. I'd deployed him with a Firesweep/Galeforce Cordelia, NY! Azura, and Ninian. Cordelia takes care of the vast majority, Jaffar chips away at anything Cordelia can't easily handle herself, and Azura and Ninian are there to dance and absorb a hit or two when there's no other option. Been working great so far.

I just got a -Atk +Hp jaffar from the TT banner and I have been using him with a simple L&D, poison strike double savage blow build bc even with the bonus he isnt gonna be doing any damage anytime soon...
When I autobattle he is usually the 1st unit that dies bc OBVIOUSLY any sane person would atk DC units with a puny 40something dmg when they have pretty much 40+ def

-Atk or Spd is my most usuall banes in 5*, so I wasnt surprized...

Pulled my first Jaffar when the current TT bannner went live and got him on as my free pull. Super happy as he is the one colourless unit that has eluded me for so long.

I have been having fun using him in TT. I’m running the usually Deathly Dagger (eff), poison and savage blow set up. My TT team consist of:

Jaffar
Effie
H.Henry
Elise

I applied Res and Def tactic seals to the team to help improve baiting potential. This team pretty much gets A/A scores on Lunatic.

I got a little bored of using this team and started using: Flier Nino, Jaffar, Lilina and Priscilla.
