Who's going to be demoted this banner?

Does anyone have any predictions on who will be demoted to 4* this banner?

I'd be happy with any of them. Robin would be a unique weapon-unit type, Hardin would be throwing Bold Fighter into the 4* pool and a reasonably mergable DC unit, and Celica would be giving access to a great support skill in Chill Speed.

If I had to guess though, I'd have to go with Celica since she has the least special things about her as a red sword (the most common unit type), using a weapon with an effect that while good isn't as playstyle defining as Distant Counter, and only one unique skill compared to Robin's completely unique unit type combination (and Distant Counter PRF, but it's less special since Lightning Breath is already in the Dragon pool) and Hardin's DC spear + incredibly powerful currently seasonal 5* exclusive skill.

Can't really see any of them being demoted. Grima and Hardin have Vengeful Fighter/Brazen skills, which would be really stupid to have available on 4* units. Celica has that skill that reduces speed by 7 on the highest speed unit on the enemy team....

Yeah, can't see anyone getting demoted.

I think that all of them will remain at five stars. Grima is decked out to a T in his skills, Hardin has Gradivus and Bold Fighter (very OP skill), and while Celica would be the most obvious choice for demotion she still possess Chill Speed which is just insane (That is -7 speed at the start of the turn against a unit with the highest speed).

I'd actually prefer it that way strangely. On one hand I want someone to get demoted, but on the other hand, I want the balance to be maintained.

Hardin is our best bet for a demotion. Gradivus is also a vailable on Camus and he is obtainable as a 3*-4* unit and they can just lock bold fighter to 5* and also Hardin's bold fighter+gradivus combo doesn't synergize well with each other well enough for him to be locked to 5*

People keep bringing up this "Camus" character, but I don't recall encountering him in game.

Is he a new unit, or maybe he's one of the hardly-seen units, like Hector?

Who is Camus?! <:o

What? Why are you trolling me like this, Krazytre? It looks like you're trying to type some name, but I keep seeing blank spaces!?! What are you even talking about?

I think that Hardin is the one most likely to be demoted, despite having a premium B-Skill and DC weapon.

Robin is just busted. DC weapon that hits the lower defensive stat on ranged units, Vengeful Fighter, Ward Dragons--this guy has too much going for him to be demoted.

Celica is harder to justify, but I still think that she won't be demoted. She has a new B-Skill that is very powerful and exclusive to her, so I don't know if IS wants to make this skill readily available just yet. You can make the same for Hardin's Brazen Def/Res, but it is not as powerful as Chill Speed. Plus, she is the most popular character (and a main lord of a game, no less) of the three according to the recent pull. Of course, we also have units such as Marth, Chrom, Corrin, Eirika, etc. who are also the main lords (or one of) of their respective games and available as 4-5 Star units, so I can see this argument being a bit weak; but even if she is not the strongest of them, I believe that her popularity would play an important factor in making sure she isn't demoted.

As for Hardin, they could easily make the Brazen Skill the 4-Star available and keep Bold Fighter 5-Star locked, as it is not as powerful (in my opinion) as the other Brazen Skills. DC weapons are also available on a good number of units at this point, especially since everyone has access to Fjorm, that having a unit a DC-weapon unit available at 4-Star rarity doesn't seem too out of the question. You still need to promote him to 5-Star to get it anyway, and it's not like he can pass it on.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she were demoted instead. Or, IS could just decide to demote no one at all.

Only time will tell.

It's very likely that none of them will get demoted. But I do feel like Hardin is going to be the one out of the three who will be demoted to 4 Star rarity. I can't really see Robin or Celica getting demoted at all.

Even if a unit is demoted, it doesn't mean their level 3 skills will be demoted. Sothe's LnD is available at 4* after demotion but L'Arachel's Res Tactic is still at 5*
