Now comes the biggest question tho. Would that person who is downvoting everything in a troll-ish way even respond in this thread? I highly doubt that. You will never know your true admirer, just face it.

Very true. Again, just wanted to point out the absurdity of it all. The truth is I'm just being extreme in mockery. I'm not upset for the downvotes, but that doesn't make it any less toxic. I actually think the run of downvoting me is hilarious, but I'm hoping whoever did it, did so in jest and not seriousness. One is funny, the other petty.

People had some very differing views and opinions on the Lucina B8% banner that was just revealed, and now that the shitstorm of garbo is over, we're getting... this?

That's pretty much it.

That's the thing, though. I'm more on the side of the Lucy fans this time! My post reflected that I'm more a middle man than on either side, yet I got all kinds of hate. That is the ridiculous part. I'm just pointing that out in a really crude way.

I've been on the side that you're on before. Getting dislikes on every single comment, even the ones that have absolutely nothing to do with what got me so many dislikes in the first place.

Do I think you deserve them (even if I do find thumbs up/thumbs down votes useless)? No. It's extremely petty. Just have to deal with it as time goes on.

So people were upset about something I said and Lucina. I gave her fair critisms and praise equally,vso it was probably from both sides; people who love her and people who hate her. Personally, I like the girl, just think she's really boring as a character, and don't mind a bit that she's the new Legendary.

So, since it got all this hate, I thought it'd be funny to make the Lucina thread no one could downvote. It also served as my way of saying 'Look at how silly this is!' No one got it.

After that thread, people went through and started giving all my replies in all threads thumbs down. Even post where I'm offering advice and congratulating people. That's either funny, or really sad, all based on their intent.

Regardless, it is just as absurd, so I wanted to make a thread as to not be outdone!

Huh so that what it is. I actually did a an analysis of Legendary Lucina and the banner just a few hours ago in the form a thread/question in here. I explained that considering her popularity it would make sense for her to get an Alt and she hasn't got an alt this entire year so giving her one alt would'nt be that bad. Still though for people downvote your opinion on her even though you gave her a fair criticisms kinda sucks and just wonder if the toxicity of this community would be just as bad as Superman Vs Goku debate

And I think she should have gotten the alt, too! Business wise it's smart, and if that's the case, it also means your satisfying the bulk of your player base. Maybe I don't want to see Lucina again, but I get it. Personally, while I'll always get excited for new units, particularly the characters I love, I'll never get upset at who is introduced. I'm more excited for skills and how that changes how I play, not who has those skills.

The only real time i would get upset over a new units is if I.S fucked up their skillsets (Tobin). and really getting upset over lucina is kinda petty for some people. Then again i think some people are only really upset cause Girl Marth has more Alts than Real Marth

I don't get why this guy cares so much about downvotes. If someone doesn't like your comment or thread, they can downvote it. If people are doing it just to troll, then why does it matter? There isn't an award for least downvotes or something. Definitely an attention seeker.

Someone seems pretty paranoid of getting the down votes.

There is literally nothing you can do about it and just move on from it. You're not getting any good impressions if this keeps up, just so you know.

Question threads like these are clogging up the Q&A section and deserve to be deleted. I'm no moderator, but I would do it if I could.

To conclude, just forget about it and don't worry about it. Maybe people will find the heart to forgive you over time if you continue to make good impressions instead of... what you're doing here now.

This thread is only going to make people want to give a thumbs down to every comment you make. Complaining about trolls doesn't fix the problem, it usually creates more. If you can't deal with trolls, then you need to get off the internet or learn to ignore them like everyone else has. Don't create more toxicity, there's already enough. Also, no one is going to admit to thumbs downing your comments, you're wasting your time.
