To whom have you given Distant Counter?

And why? I just got another Hector. I have had a +Def one since the first week, foddered the next to Effie, and now I just got another.

I had a few ideas, like Ares, Joshua, Masked Marth, Eirika, Winter Lissa, Sheena, Caeda, Clair, etc. but I want to here what you guys have done and why.

Soleil, Ares, S!Y!Tiki, and Myrrh.

Soleil because Heavy Blade+DC means Aether becomes much more reliable and is turned into a mixed phase unit. Add Wrath and Wo Dao+ and she's the cutest monster you'll ever find.

Ares because DC+Vantage makes it so when he fires off his first special of Draconic Aura, any unit that comes across him has to take nearly 75 effective damage before they can even attack.

Both dragons are a bit more obvious, but I'd suggest putting DC on either Sheena for being a mixed tank that can always counter, or Ares for the reason above.

I only gotten 2 hector, 2 legendary one at that, so I have given mt DC to a unit that I use in arena, which is Adult tiki. Her legendary breath truly is wonderfull. I would personnally only give DC to unit that I plan to use in arena regularly, unless you are a whale with infinite hectors.

In your case, Eirika and Sheena makes the most sense imo.

Only to Sheena, i already got a second VF fodder, so giving her DC was need it.

I only foddered an Hector to Adult Tiki, because I run her in my Dragon Emblem Arena Team.
I also pulled two Legendary Hector but I merged them.

I foddered my only spare Hector to Hawkeye because of his stats. Also I like him.

Who ever you decide to give it to, it's an enemy phase skill so while it can definitely work on high-speed units like Soleil, I would prefer to run it on tanks. especially tanks that have a guaranteed follow up from vengeful fighter or quick riposte

Summer Robin, Joshua, Myrrh, and Sword Reinhardt.

Summer Robin was plus res, I wanted a high res DC lance (Camus was too low), and I used her a lot so it made sense to me nine months ago when I did it.

Joshua was another unit I particularly liked, and he was a high res DC sword compared to my others (Ryoma, Ike, and Black Knight at that point for me).

Myrrh I wanted to keep her weapon instead of Lightning Breath, and she was one of the strongest units in the game, so I didn't mind giving up a premium skill.

Reinhardt I wanted to make full use of the DC Vantage set, since it seemed particularly strong going against it in arena.
