Who was you first 5*?

There are two units that I believe mean more to many players than every other unit. Your most powerful unit, and the first 5* you have ever pulled. My first 5* pull was a Jeorge that I learned months later was +Atk/-Res, but without him, I doubt I would have continued to play heroes. Even though he has been benched due to having better units, I still hold him in high esteem and have heavily invested in him. I’m just interested in what everyone else’s first 5* pull and the fate that they have received.

My first 5* was a +def -hp Leo who I used all the time in the beginning. He was the only red unit I would use and he worked well for me. I don't use him on a team anymore except for when I need a strong red mage to take out a green unit as I gave him triangle adept 3 and axebreaker 3 but after reflecting now, who knows, I might try to come up with a way to start using him again.

Leo is a great unit when you build him right. I run my +ATK-RES Leo on my blade horse team, and he’s an absolute beast against anything green and can oneshot most colorless units.

Got the -Atk one for my first 5* ever... He tops at 37 I think, so I used hil the diched him for his bro Xander. He still is my favorite of Fates

My first 5* was a +HP-RES Lyn. I loved using her in blazing blade, so it was extremely sentimental to me, and I used her a lot before I fashioned my first horse emblem team together, and was the first unit I really tried to experiment with regarding SI. If I drew a +ATK or +SPD variety, I would probably find a way to incorporate her into a team today, even though I have hardcore reds like Ayra in my barracks, but for now I use her every now and then, but not anywhere near as much as I did before (although she does almost have 3,000 HM).

Report

My first was Cordelia. Used her for every team, still do! Back in the early days of FEH she was much lower on the tier list and always felt they were wrong (still do but...), she wrecked everyone in her way. Teams molade of Takumi intimidated me, but her Lance could kill him before he got a chance. TA3 let her tank Ryoma and Lucinia. I was set.

Some time after inheritance came out I got another and learned the whole time my Cordelia was -Atk/+Res. Laughed a good bit and merged into the new -Spd/+Atk. Today she's a -Res/+Spd Firesweep build and saves me from all those scary Close Counter armored Jacobs and Tharjas.

Report

Cordelia is amazing on any flier emblem team. I as well knew great things would come from her, Brave build or otherwise. I run a +SPD-HP quadstrike build and can hit 62/52 attack/speed with her, 65 with the attack seal.

As much as I didn't want her, Camilla was my first 5* pull. +Atk -Def, which I didn't find out until way later after getting her. Don't get me wrong, I like Camilla (I like her for reasons that don't involve her boobs) but I was hoping for something that wasn't....her, but I'm glad that I did get her now that I'm looking back on it. I might replace her for my +Atk Cherche sometime down the road, but that won't be anytime soon.

Report

Camilla can be a solid unit if built right. Me personally, I’ve sacrificed one (she was -ATK+DEF) to a Cherche and have another (+Def-Hp) that I will most likely do the same with.

Report

My 1st 5* was my +Spd/-Res Lyn. She helped me in the Arena and was my best Red/Sword Unit at the time, and my main leader. And then Tharja finally came home and I've benched and dethroned her since. It even got worse when MY sword lady Ayra came to Heroes. I won't forget the times I've had with her though. She especially came though for me during the mini Trials.

Report

My first 5-star was Takumi followed by a Lucina (one of my 2 favorites) within a day or so after. He is.....sadly -atk/+hp, which was probably a signal that it would be an arduous road with my luck in-game in terms of IVs. Just about every 5-star I've ever pulled for the first time aside from Ike and Soleil has been less than ideal of a nature, but that's also made it a fun challenge to make them all still effective.

But I digress. Takumi still sees some use in arena assault runs. Eventually paired him with Marthcina and he covers her well. He can tank a few shots and still dish some damage out. He also has poison strike because like many I was young and foolish back in March and I like to leave it there to remind me of my past errs in judgement. So can't say he's overly exciting, but I like to keep him around and pull him off the bench when able.

Report

Right there with you on Takumi, although I did pull a +SPD-HP variety. A bit better, but not by very much, and nearly irrelevant in the face of today’s archers. Although with a bowbreaker build he hard counters Brave Lyn.

got ryoma and another 5* (possibly hinoka or fae) on my first pull when i started game, both been pretty stalwart and good enough together while i learnt the ropes. found neither has perfect IV's once i learnt what those are but love 'em both for pvp and pve respectively

Report

My first 5* was a -Atk/+HP Chrom, needless to say I was disappointed heavily when I learned about IVs

Report

I did not have a good start to the game, so this does not apply to me. My first 5* was a +Def -Spd Maria, and she was my only 5* for the first 2 weeks of the game.

Report

The most fateful pull, eh? My Jakob and I hate him. I had experience using him at 4*, and I was not pleased at all. I trained him to the max, but he just wasn't reliable for me.

The units that mean the most to me are the ones that surprised me by how useful they were. Takumi, Cordelia, and now Azama (who I recently raised to 5*) are 5*s I care about because they survived hits countless times in encounters where I thought I'd lose, before I knew anything about damage calculations.

And then there's Lyn, Ike, Eirika, and Eliwood, whom I love because they are my favorite characters. :)

Report

My first 5 star was Leo! I also got Tharja on the same pull! two five stars in those first starting orbs I was over the moon!
My Leo is Neutral IVs
and my first Tharja was -Atk +Def haha
I loved them both to death and my first "team" if you were to call it that was Leo Tharja Cordelia and Kagero!
I soon after Pulled before I got Cordelia I pulled a Karel and a Cain those first days of Feh may have been some of the "best" pull luck ive had other than the Brave Heroes banner

Mine was a +atk -res Takumi. Help me a lot and I never pull another one.

Report

My first 5* units were Fae and Raven (they both came from the same pull). I used Raven more at first, I liked how he actually had a speed stat compared to my other brave weapon users at the time, but eventually he got eclipsed by better units, and I found out he was +def -atk, which definitely explained why. After not using him for months, I recently fed him to Cherche.

Fae, on the other hand, was +def -hp, and while she seemed rather niche at first and I wasn't sure what to do with her, today she is literally my most powerful unit. (I built her into green Nowi and I run her with Ninian, and Falchions are pretty much the only thing that can take her down.)

So my most powerful unit and my first 5* are technically one and the same, which is funny. But I still have to give mention to Klein. Klein was not my first 5* (I think he was my fourth, my third being a second Fae, about which at the time I was very much Not Amused), but he was my first really good 5* (Fae didn't feel like a really good unit until SI came out), and he made me feel like, okay, maybe I don't have a Takumi to tear up the arena with like everyone else, but 4 times out of 5 Klein beats him, so who's laughing now??? Klein was +atk -def and came with a great kit right out of the box (one of very few early game units that did, frankly), and for months he was a staple on pretty much all my teams. He's fallen off quite a bit in usage since the introduction of Brave Lyn, but I still keep him around for old times' sake, and he's still my best brave archer, since I elected to keep Mulagir and I never pulled Bridelia, so he still has his uses occasionally.

Report

My first was a 5* +res -hp Klein during his first release banner. He pretty much carried me through the whole game until skill inherit with his great base kit. Now I hardly use him but I can't really let go of him to take his bow
