Who Should I Unlock Potential For?

I'm stumped on who to unlock potential for. I have an Arvis that I got from a GHB a long time ago that I leveled to 20.
The other option is my +SPD/-DEF L'Arachel.

Help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Oh, sorry! I forgot about that!
I have that lacks a mage of any type. It consists of a Brave Roy, Frederick, Pricilla,and Mathilda. I'm planning to replace Mathilda with L'Arachel.

With Arvis, I was just going to make a Ploy-Spam him and I lacked any good infantry mages

I have a Tailtiu with good IVs, so I don't know if that's any better.

In my opinion, if this is your first horse emblem team then this is an easy decision(for me), I would undoubtedly choose L'arachel especially with a spd boon IV. Just slapping a bladetome on her would instantly make her incredibly good.

Arvis is definitely good. I've used him for about a day or two(lol). he's generally a unit who works well in more dedicated teams like multi debuffer teams and then with something like Gunnthra that uses debuffs on enemies to kill them.

So, in terms of usefulness to your team
I would say L'arachel first
then
Arvis

Arvis is generally worth it if you're running him alongside Gunnthra since she butchers anything debuffed that heavily and her blessing gives him even more Res to use for his ploys. In the absence of Gunnthra though I'd probably say L'Arachel.
