Who else thinks that Aether should not allow duplicate heroes?

That would surely combat the multiple Surtr plague affecting Aether Raids.

Had to face a team that had three of him, one of them tucked away in the corner behind aether refills. Thankfully I succeeded, but I still won't wish this on anyone.

Already sent a feedback inquiry about it.

Five fallen Takumis? Probably a non-issue here; my TA Raven Cecilia's on my offensive team, plus I got HMia to combat the Skadi damage with heals.

Unless if at least one of them has CA. Then we got trouble.

I think it'd be nice if they limited dancers to only 1 per team. While I haven't had an issue with duplicate heroes or even Surtr, I can definitely see there becoming issues in the future.

DD WF Surtr walled a full team of 5 in my latest defense. If people come unprepared, it WILL cost them the entire match.

Literally just use any red mage if you're actually finding surtr to be a problem. He's a non issue, I let nephenee trade blows with surtrs until surtr dies.

I'm neutral about duplicates.

But there should only be one dancer/singer on Raiding teams, offensive and defensive.

Dancers are overrated for offense, i only have one of my defense so that my defense team is almost guaranteed a kill anytime someone battles.

I only say offense because having a Wrazzle Dazzle who can attack more than twice per turn and chip away and kill just about everything on their own and being able to retreat easily is busted.

I don't believe duplicate units should be allowed in any modes. They're mostly not allowed in the more difficult PVE content, don't see why they would be allowed in AR.

I agree. I found a team of 5 Surtr, two of them +10 and that’s just annoying. Yeah, red tomes will easily kill him...but it’s annoying anyway.

I would like duplicates to a point. What IS SHOULD have done is allow only one dancer in a def team, for example in Rival Domains you could only have 1 dancer in a group of 20 units. This would do some good but the VerLynHart dancer cancer uses 1 dancer usually....

Fun fact: im making a def team using 5!!! Ardens, 2 with ward swords, 2 with safeguard, a 1 overkill quading galeforce while the other 4 run ward armor. Reason why i like having duplicates for the lolz in aether raids

I don't think there should be any defense restrictions. I'm okay with limiting one dancer on offense, but I'm also okay with no restrictions whatsoever.

I think there is a bigger issue here and that is IS actually PROMOTING the use of duplicate mythic heroes the way bonus scoring works.

To reach max. potential you need 3 +10 Eirs (max 190 score). From a F2P perspective thats impossible, but there is also a big difference between running only 1 Eir+1 blessing (max 110) and 2 Eirs+2 blessings (max 140).

So basically you are screwed if you dont pull an additional Eir apart from the free one and use both on a team. You will have a much harder time climbing AR ladder than those who have multiple mythic heroes. Also the bonuses are broken AF. With 2 Eirs, your blessed allies gain +10hp/+10res.

Sadly this mode became p2w at its finest. Not only that but it promotes very little diversity in teams. It was much better before the patch...

Anyone that doesn't have one of their 5 teams designed to deal with a surtr pack is just lazy. Lilina/dancer/chipper plus whatever bonus units you want.
