Who else completed relay defense?

Sorry to those who couldn't hold.

I cleared the first five maps without much difficulty when they first came out. I got stuck on the sixth, and I really think there's something wrong with the game when Reinhardt loses if he initiates into a base kit SM Eirika, to understate the matter. Then I switched to blockading strategies and to my surprise, I cleared the 7th and 8th on my first tries. I did spend like 40 mins on each, including probably 1/3 to 1/2 of it before actually entering the battle, just looking at the starting units and trying to figure out my first 2-3 turns.

My brigades had only 7-8 highly merged units. The others were mostly unmerged or +1.

Gave up around the 5th or 6th one.

I know there's F2P guides on how to easily beat the maps but I didn't felt like it was worth it.

Me too I’m not doing that for one more orb

Got tired of it after doing the third map. The enemies toting Pivot is not helping matters.

Thought it would be a cool mode, but NOPE.

I did it! I completed up to and including rank 6 on my own, but I had to grab Brave Veronica as my free CYL summon and follow pheonixmaster1's F2P guide to complete everything after that. I was surprised at how well his guide worked out for me. And honestly Brave Veronica was who I was going to pick if I couldn't pull for her, anyway, since even at neutral IV she's insanely good.
