Who did you end up marrying the most in Fates and Awakening?

I literally couldn't stop marrying Shura, Ryoma, Xander, and Jakob in Fates, and Chrom and Henry in Awakening.

Has anyone else had this urge to marry the same person every playthrough?

Keaton and Shura we the main two I'd go to in Fates, Awakening was more of a breeding ground, to be honest. LOL.

I do not, though I have my ships.
I'm not the kind of person to project myself in the avatar's shoes, so I tend to think of the avatar as their own person. That's kinda why I dislike Corrin (not Robin), they lack character.

If pressed, I'd say I would ship the female avatar with Chrom. Makes the story more fun with Lucina.

I do have a soft spot for Nyx though.

Awakening... Uh... Tiki. Yeah. The supports were nice and the idea of Morgan being part shadow dragon and part divine dragon was super interesting.
Fates- Velouria. God couldn't save enemies from Kana... Lol. And the supports were really cute.

Fates Camilla (3 times), Azure (once) and Orochi (once).
Awakening Olivia (twice), Tiki (once) and Emmeryn (3 times).

Nyx or Charlotte. Best girls. And I feel I don't need to go into my love for them if you've seen certain past posts or comments from me that talk about them.

While I like Charlotte, I ship her too hard with Xander to concider S ranking her with Corrin.

I always married Setsuna and Peri in fates. In Awakening I played as female so I could marry Chrom and make a super Lucina.

Awakening: Nowi, mainly due to gameplay reasons... and Nah.
Fates: Mozu. She's my waifu. Period.

Always Chrom. Every playthrough, I literally cannot bring myself to marry anyone else.

In Awakening, as far as I'm concerned, the canon ships for the player character are Chrom and Lucina. I feel like the game makes it pretty obvious those are the primary choices. I've only played Awakening through completely once, with default male Robin, so I went with Lucina. I'd go with Chrom for a female Robin. If I play more games, I might try romancing some of the other guys, since there are quite a few good ones. But I do consider Chrom the player romance character.
(I also have a hard time shipping Frederick and Lissa with anyone besides each other. I'd take Frederick for myself, but the whole princess/knight thing is too romantic and cute to pass up.)

For Fates, this was how I did it:
Birthright - default male Corrin - married Silas's daughter (who was also Felicia's daughter in this playthrough). I don't even remember her name because she made that little impression on me. I definitely wouldn't recommend this. She was basically just, "I love horses!" for every single dialogue.
Conquest - default female Corrin - married Xander. This was ... weird. Because of how leveling and recruiting the child characters works, I sort of paused to do all the shipping part-way through the story. Which resulted in Xander being all romancey after I married him in the support stuff, and then when it went back to main story stuff, kept calling me his sister. So ... that was creepy. I think they should have done some slight adapting the story dialogue to account for the inevitable sibling romances that players would do.
Revelation - custom female character - I'm pretty sure I married Kaze. (It was a while ago, so I don't remember exactly.) It was hard to choose between him, Jakob, and Silas, because all three of them are lovely in their own ways, all very loyal and devoted, and are there with me through all three routes, regardless of what I choose, so they're probably my top Fates choices for that reason.

But wasn't Chrom and Sumia practically canon? You saw then together during the opening of Awakening, they were holding each other (dancing?).

I don't remember that. But really, Sumia is so boring to me, I don't consider that. I think the game assumes the player is male (like this one does) and so assumes a Lucina romance. When playing a female, I think Chrom is the obvious romance choice for the player character. I'd actually love to ship Chrom with Cordelia (at least once) but the game doesn't allow that for a stupid reason that they probably thought was a very good one.

chrom and sumia are canon, and there are a couple cutscenes with them and in the opening its actually Sumia holding what is probably baby lucina.

I never marry the same unit twice, so I'll just say that I WOULD remarry Kaden and Gaius if I decide to repeat.

I wanted to marry everyone at least once in Awakening but every time it got close to the Chrom Gets Married chapter I always end up giving in and marrying Chrom... I'm basic and I love this man. :,V
Female waifu is and forever will be Cherche.

As for Fates I don't really like any of the characters...? Not to the level where anyone in particular would stand out. First run I married Laslow though, bcu I love Inigo.

Fates - Rhajat, Caeldori (Birthright) Velouria (I dont marry first generation female because of children) or Charlotte if i really had to.
