Who to 5*?

I have several heroes that are worth promoting, but not sure who i should prioritize. I have 50+ other 5* (as free to play, I've been lucky), so I do not need anyone in particular to add to a team composition. This would be for the fun of using the hero and leveling them. I'm leaning towards Grand heroes or heroes that are pulled as 3/4*, and not heroes that can potentially be pulled as a 5*.

Female Corrin. Her defense is amazing and she can take a lot of hits from Falchion users. Plus, that Dark Breath is too good with the debuffs.

I like her a lot too. Mine is +def, -res. She was a beast in the last voting gauntlet.

Personally I think Cecilia is a great option, especially if she has favorable IVs. A 5* Cecilia is the perfect meta-bomb, with Gronnraven+ tome naturally. Takes care of both B!Lyn and The Rein if she has TA and Bowbreaker (assuming someone didn't build a Cancel Affinity B!Lyn).

^All this only really applies if you're encountering a bunch of the aforementioned heroes and are having trouble climbing arena.

Not going to deny Cecilia is a great unit but... I personally put her in the 4*+10 catagory. She doesn't appear as 5* so unless you spend a ton of feathers she'll be stronger as a merged 4*.

A primary issue is that she loses her raven tome as 4*, but even then you could promote to a 5* and then merge that 5* to a 4*+10 in order to have the raven tome+ and the extra stay boost.

Definitely Eirikia, she gains so much from 4* to 5*. As a 4* she's just another red but as 5* she becomes one of the strongest buffers around.

Now while Olivia, Celcelia, and Cherche are great units they really excel at 4*+10 if you're F2P or a casual player like most of us. For all 3 of them their main builds involve new weapons and skills so they don't gain much from the 5* unless you plan on doing some expensive merging.

EDIT: Just saw Zeph in there, he's great but really needs to kill a Hector for optimal results. I see people running the Deathblow Brave build on him but I personally prefer the utility of Alphonse for that.

It depends on the IV's of that cordelia. If she's +atk or +spd, definately choose her. If you have horse emblem in mind, you can upgrade Cecelia. If you're chrom is +atk and you have a brave sword to faughter, go with him. Next up are Eirika and F-Corring respectively. Examine those unit's IV's and make your choiced based on it.

Cherche with Brave axe is super good too, again, based on IV's
