They re 4 star. Valter and a Catria -res +spd
I have a Catria 5 star but with bad IV, so i can merge and gain +1 hp and spd, but for Valter i have 4 samples of him.
Catria has similar status to Summer cordelia of +1 merged.
with weapon refiniment , Catria can have +5hp and +4def or +3spd, Variety of roles.
Valter has better weapon with fury 2.5(a bad fury because doesn't give 2 for defenses and have 4 damage per battle, but aceptable by His cooldown eff.
I dont like him by His middling spd.
Catria has salvageable atk, but 5 in difference to valter, that could run a 1-turn Quick Riposte.
I dont Think her atk is good for Brave lance, but i have fire Sweep fodder.
Also i can use her at same role as valter, a flier tank, but with better spd. I have brazen atk/def fodder too.
Also, until the End of year, i Think she can be candidate for weapon reforge.
Since you think catria will get a new weapon i say wait for it. Bo point on fodering weapons/skills if a new weapon might come just to make them useless. If you plan on +10 her and making her ur main waifu then i say go for it tho.
Valter is a decent tank with. Vantage/qr and qr/iotes/close def
