Which sword to promote?

I'm relatively new and I have a good arena core (MGrima, NYAzura, Hardin and a Reaper Jakob, last three all thanks to the recent banner), but my overall selection is quite limited in red department, though I've pulled a +spd/-res Sigurd yesterday.

Looking to add to my sword roster, I already have free LIke (meh speed) and -hp/+spd Ayra (not using her on the Arena because she doesn't fit into my team). I accidentally discovered that some of my red 4-star residue has pretty similiar and great IVs, notably:

+atk/-def Eirika
+spd/-def Eirika
+spd/-def Marth
+spd/-def Soleil

Which one would be the best to promote just to have another support hero/melee red arena filler/realms goon? They are all lucrative candidates, I'm lost here. I'm not planning merges (since all my arena dudes are 5* locked).

Eirika is amazing on a mixed movement team and her refined weapon (the Eff one that boosts all her stats). Put a desired tactic on her C slot skill, and then the Def tactic Seal that way she can buff herself along with the rest of the team. I have a +4 Eirika that I've geared as such and she's amazing, she tanks almost all damage like a champ (Include WT disadvantages) if she's properly buffed. I think whether you choose the +atk or +spd depends on what buffs you're going to run on the other units, because 35 neutral speed isn't enough if you can't supplement it, but like I said because of her weapon refine you can work it different ways. Mine is +Atk/-HP herself and it works great.

As I said, I won't use her on the arena proper anyway, just as some viable buffer/gap closer for arena assault and realms. Yes, +atk would fare much better vs Hector or Grima, especially it's a superboon, and with swordbreaker she'll make up for defensive speed tier. With Fury especially her attack would stop being noodle tier. It is 38 vs 41 speed difference is huge.

Soleil seems like the best. Marth is nice with his buffs but for high BST armors it does not matter that much. Eirika for better merges and can utilise team visible buffs, but I think your core units works better with ward/airzura invisible buffs, and I doubt that she can get even nearly as good as soleil as a combatant.
Give her armorsmasher, I had the same arena core as you last month and my problem was Grima with SB + Bold Fighter and Hector with Wary Fighter, she solved those problem easily now.

IDK, Jakob kills Grima consistently (unless he can survive three hits (currently 56 effective Mt with buffs, if you don't count a def ploy) and an Ignis, which is a rare thing to see. My +def Grima with +1 and Kiran's support has 41 def and that's not enough if that Grima doesn't have further skills to bolster that.

A proper Grima on an armor tile may actually weather this attack, yes.

Also, a non atk-gimped Grima may one-shot Jakob with Glimmer on a counter.

Sounds like you're looking for a green weapon-triangle check. How aggressive are your armors and what buffs are they using? If they all have bold fighter you can focus on a support role; if Grima and Jakob are still on their default B-skills you might want a more aggressive sword. Eirika is probably your preference if you need more offense because she can "receive" the armour hones using her weapon effect, but her hones (one of which is stuck on her weapon) will often be redundant if you're using hone armour. Marth can't exploit the +6 armour buffs for his own combat, but he's better at stacking drives on any armour buffs because that's how his weapon works. He also has the benefit of ruining some dragon's day. Soleil is more if your armours are passive and enemy-phase oriented; she can hit and run, maybe even heavy blade galeforce (works beautifully with a dancer because you get three turns if you can double anybody at all), and then have your armours (who might be enemy phase oriented) hide her in the back. But her role is similar to Ayra with default kit.

My Jakob is +hp/-spd, has Brave Bow, Death Blow 2 (all I get are fucking Leon and Jeorge) and Bold Fighter, Def Ploy and Distant Defence seal..

Basically all i need is to ensure he doesn't get meleed and/or quadded. There are few units that can survive his attack with Hone Armor and Azura's assist and Drive Atk, he has enough bulk to eat any fast specials on a counter in most situations.

Enemy dancers are most problematic, expectedly. My Grima is a lucky first day pull from a spring banner (Spring Grima, lol), +1 merge, but -atk/+def. Sacrificed Kana and 20k to give Grima a brazen skill, ultimately not worth it. No Bold Fighter for him. Hardin (+def/-spd) carries QR seal and Bonfire (to guarantee a special on attack). So, my armors are def-focused, for prolonged fights. Not the best choice for arena, since it's all preventing ORKOs.

Well since H.Jakob kills pretty much everything and you plan on dancing him you could even consider swordbreaker Olivia with ruby sword or armorsmasher. Dance him twice, obliterate everybody in one round. Olivia can physically block any melee threat that isn't blue (if it's another red swordbreaker, she probably has enough speed to block a double), for which you use Grima. But of the choices you offered, both Marth and Eirika should work as far as I can tell, though Eirika will probably want the one she's guarding to receive defensive buffs that she can exploit for herself with her weapon and speed is, as you said, marginal.

I don't know what you can do about quads unless you stack speed buffs on Marth, which seems like a waste when everybody's using the armour-exclusive B-skills. In this build, despite the good mixed defenses, the low speed makes him a player phase monster who needs to hide behind teammates during enemy phase like Delthea, Reinhardt, or Bride Cordelia.

Olivia won't work because then I lose on Guidance. Jakob is already friends with NYAzura, which perfectly synergizes with her guidance. The problem with just dancing him all the time is that Jakob can't usually survive a second counterattack, and if enemy has high atk and uses glimmer, he may even die to the first one (although not with Hagoita, ally support and Fortify Armor from Grima). I'd probably want to switch to Ward Armor because bulk isn't something to lose to chance.

When I meant arena filler, I meant Arena Assault, because all those won't improve much in my existing main team.
