Which A slot and assist skill for H!Jakob?

He’s +Res/-Def. When I have the available SP and resources, he will have Hone Armor and the defense refinery on his weapon. I want to make him a ranged tank, but I don’t have any DD, CC, or any stance/breath fodder to give him, and I don’t want to give him Fury since that’ll make him lose the WF effect quickly. Any other substitutes as well as an assist skill option? (I’m thinking Swap or Pivot but Idk)

A Slot: Close Counter or Distant Def
Assist skill: Either swap, pivot, or reposition. Depends on what ur team needs

For A slot, I have neither to offer him.

Sadly due to your limited fodder, I think your best bet would be either Def+3 or Res+3. You can always try pulling F!Morgan and giving him her Mirror Stance.
Also Swap is his best assist imo and Guard Bow refine is up to you, though I would personally suggest def refine to patch up his bane in it
