Which refinement for Lucina?

I'm going to be investing in my Lucina soon so I'd like to make sure which upgrade to go for when I get enough Divine Dew.

Should I give my +Def -HP Lucina the Sealed Falchion? Or the bond upgrade?

Sealed Falchion would improve her bulk and her offensive capabilities as she'd hit 38 defence when she's in the HP threshold, but the lack of Renewal in the weapon will hurt her survivability with Fury.

The bond refine would make her a good Enemy Phase unit and and she'll keep her Renewal to help her survive better, however she won't be as good offensively as she needs another unit next to her to make use of the stat boost and she might not always have someone next to her.

That is the same thing I am thinking, except with a Masked Marth as I don't own Lucina :(

I'm using a masked marth. Tbh it depends on what you exactly want. for Player phase I'd go sealed cuz with sealed the plus side is you won't need to worry about positioning and you won't really be minding the renewal effect as the match is pretty fast (unless its TT then its important). for enemy phase I'd recommend spectrum bond one and have the ally near her be her allied support as well as give that ally spur def and drive def Sacred seal (that's +2 from ally. + 4from spur and additional +3 from the drive) which could make her a wall.

Look at your other sword units and see if you need a player phase (sealed) or enemy phase (spectrum bond) sword. I went with the Spectrum Bond option as I have plenty player phase swords but few enemy phase ones. I also tend to play defensively anyway and I use her a combat medic for CC/TT with Renewal 6.

Depends on of you're using it for Arena , AA. TT or chain challenges, sealed is great in arena and AA, if not then eff.
If you want to run player phase in Arena, then sealed with fury and desperation, running IP on someone to run through people with like a heavy blade and have fun. If not she works great as a passive healer or buff bot with dual drives and eff with dual rally , or renewal and healing, up to how you want to run her
