Which pity breakers turned out to be better than expected

very odd question, I know, but I got a -hp +res caeda from the new years banner while trying for camilla, I never got her, I'm still salty bout that, and I trained her normally, and then the new weapons came out and she became a beast.

how bout you?

edit: I also got a tana from the LA summon and I use her in the training tower when I get a new 5*

Literally none, all of mine that I've gotten over the span of, ehhhhhhh, 6 months, have been fucking garbage. I'd gladly trade in all the blue ones for LA!Lyn or Linde. I'd gladly trade the colorless ones for an Elise.

I've gotten a few Hectors for DC fodder that I'm pretty happy with.

Otherwise basically what he said. Just a bunch of Merric, Seliph, Corrin-M, Caeda, and Claire that I sent home for feathers. No regrets there since I know I'd never use them. Then a few random mages whose weapons I foddered, another few units that I have sitting in my barracks waiting to fodder for their weapon/skills.

I've had Pity Breakers, but a lot of them are just good units. I got a pity breaker +Spd Celica at one point. Didn't want her, but she's a good unit.

A lot of my pity breakers I don't mind having, but 95% of them turn out to have horrid IVs, like my -Atk Olwen.

Or my -Atk Hinoka...

If I really like a unit, then I'll use them regardless of IVs, but units like Hinoka/Olwen I don't necessarily like, so I just fodder, or keep until I get a better one for merge.

I got a Tana and an Ephraim while pulling for LA Lyn. Still would have rather gotten Lyn, but as consolation prize go they're not bad at all.

I’ve had nonfocus summons on the bare minimum % rate for banners, including free summons, that could be termed as pitybreakers, but beyond that I haven’t had many. The worst bare minimum summon I’ve had was a +DEF-RES Mist. Literally she is the worst 5* exclusive available, and I got her on my second slate of herofest after pulling a +res-hp Marth on the first slate. I’ve been “pitybroken” before by Ayra, a +atk-hp Leon, Lute, Summer Robin, Corrin M with his optimal IVs, an optimal IV Soren, and a +spd-def Deirdre. Of those, the only one you can consider a pitybreaker I got was Summer Robin, and she is really good for training with lance units because she has lance valor, and her IVs of +SPD-ATK are actually not that bad. I was a bit troubled by it before, but it’s really not that bad when she hits 40+ speed with a refined deft harpoon+.

Edit: I did pull a +hp-atk Karel on one banner. Olivia thanked him for his weapon.

I think it would have to be my Delthea. +Res/-Def. Not the best boon, but certainly not one that makes her bad.

I got pity broken by Delthea on the LA Banner, which worked out since I actually wanted one. I couldn’t pull her on her earlier banners, so I was happy to see that little snaggletooth show up.

Alm was a pity breaker in the Halloween banner. Good thing I never got rid of him, as the Falchion refinement for him is looking good. Too bad I never have enough dew, so he never got it yet. And with Jeorge, Felicia, Lyn, and Sanaki waiting on their refinements, plus Eirika's and Soren's upcoming refinements...Yeah, it's gonna be a while before I have everyone covered.

Sigurd from the Farfetched Heroes banner also showed his worth.

I actually think it would be easier for me to make a list of the bad pittybreakers I've got. Most of them have been awesome units, sometimes even better than what I originally wanted

my pitybreaker healers sakura and genny. theyre really a big help in TTs and genny is rly good for hard maps with gravity and savage blow.

others are my 3 lucinas ig. shes been my main sword unit for forever now and i rly want more lucinas (even tho we have m!marth) so i can merge her.

I've gotten some impressive pity breakers, actually. I've ended up with 2 Dorases, 2 Deltheas, Genny, Raven (for super merging into my current one), Azura, and Sanaki. I know I've gotten more, but I've used some for skill inheritance. Of course, I've ended up with some horrible pity breakers before, such as a -spd +res Lucina, Abel, Merric (twice), Mist (3 times), Sheena (3 times)...I really wish Hector would be a pity breaker for me.

Got a pity breaker +Atk Nowi and a +Atk Eldigan, which wasn't too bad. Most of my pity breakers are neutral IVs. The worst pity breaker I got was a +HP/-Atk Merric during the LA banner. I don't end up using most of 'em and they don't have good fodder skills, but my luck isn't the worst.

easily my favorite pity breaker is ayra. -hp + atk.

I got an Amelia while rolling for W!Robin (ironically the wrong armor marcher). She was +hp, -atk, but I patched her up with fire boost and she is a staple on my armor emblem.

I got a -HP+Spd that I thought wasn't as good because of her more defensive weapon and I don't usually replace legendary weapons, but I got her Firesweep L+ and got a super good glass cannon and the 5* lvl 40 confession of Roderick. I also got a -Atk+HP Caeda too. Even with the -Atk, she helped me get through the Lunatic "No Deaths" quest with Grima in it.
