Which one is better?

Ok I have two characters who I’m debating whether to use, “Just Here to Fight” Hector who is plus Atk minus res and a Axe Ephraim that is plus res minus hp and they both could be optimized according to the builds on this website but I’m unsure of which one I should choose. Wanna help me decide? Thanks!

Who are the others in your group?

M! Grima who is optimized (+atk -hp), Lance Hector who is optimized (+res -atk) , and Halloween Myrrh (+hp -res) who I got literally 5 minutes ago

That's a tough choice. In terms of use, they both will work. I like Ephraim better and think he works better so that's a tough one. Do you plan to use them as budget or are you building them up?

Building them up

I think Ephraim is more flexible for phases so I'd go for him. You can use DC on him to play enemy phase or you could utilize his weapon and player phase with him.
