Which Myrrh? +Atk-spd vs +def-res

As the description states, trying to decide between +Atk-spd vs +def-res myrrh. Option 1 is the second best boon and best bane which feels like the one to go with. But the 2nd option is hands down the best boon with a bad but not the worst bane. So the question is, does the synergy of +def with Great Flame weapon out weigh the benefits of +atk, - spd. I've never used Myrrh before so any input is appreciated

+Def -Res is your better option here, as long as you don’t plan on using her as a ranged tank, which she shouldn’t be doing since Great Flame is only 1 range. Besides, you could just build a Fae if you need a good ranged counter green dragon

DC is a very popular option on Myrrh and, in my opinion, a very good one, especially if she's receiving fortify fliers. With QR, she has a conditional omnibreaker.

So you are saying the + def iv would be the better choice for a non DC build? I have the DC available and I was planning on using it on her. My thoughts are that with very few exceptions, mages will always have significantly less def than myrrh, which means she will almost never be doubled by mages which compensates for the -res.

You need to consider what team she will be in, what her role is there, what buffs she will receive, and whether she uses DC. For example, if she's in a flier team and receiving atk buffs, +def -res receiving fortify fliers will make her really hard to double. If she's not in a flier team, fortify def is still good but not quite as strong, but hone atk with +atk -spd gives her more player phase potential via OHKO. She's probably not doubling anybody of significance without a spd boon or multiple goad fliers except -spd Dorcas (who tends to struggle against dragons)

I'd say +Def -Spd, both are solid though. +Def really helps her activate her weapon's ability to stop followups, and this ability is what makes Myrrh a monster; she takes one hit, and then dishes out two hits with Quick Riposte, making her exceedingly tanky. But once she gets doubled, her bulk goes down by a lot. On the other hand, she can reach quite high attack with +Atk, enough to consider things like heavy blade, and it also makes her more useful on player phase. Things to consider, no mages will be doubling her, so her Res stat isn't as important as it seems. Units which may be doubling her, like armors, are going to be hitting on the physical side, which defense will help with, while also preventing doubles from plenty of other units.
The biggest downside of -Res would probably be taking more damage from her Dragon matchups, since they hit res and have high defense; but if you're using triangle advantage well, this shouldn't be much of an issue, and it's not like she's surviving breath of fog tiki regardless. +Def -Res is the Myrrh IVs that I am using right now as well. I hope this helps!

sorry for the late reply - I run Aether for arena score, but in general play i just run Bonfire. she takes a hit, usually K.O.s her opponent in two regular hits through QR, and then has Bonfire charged to nuke something on player phase if necessary.
