Which Morgan to use?

I got another female Morgan from the new banner and I am wondering on which one I should use, the (+Def -Res) or (+Hp - Def)?

I disagree with this, my Morgan (F) is the exact same IVs as his (+Def,-Res) and she works well at tanking most ranged threats.

My build isn't super optimal maybe, but it does what I need it to do and she usually has extra support on top... but alone she has 31 def against initiating archers (with no weakness thanks to iotes shield), and 45 res vs initiating mages.

When I first pulled mine I was iffy about the IV's but then realized they might be really good for how i'd actually like to use her.

Forgot that builder doesn't show it--that is a +Res refine on the weapon to keep her ploy power intact; if you are running something else in your C then you could maybe run +Def refine to be more effective.

As mine stands: unless I use the combat simulator wrong, it wins baiting neutral/+atk brave lyn, and loses to +spd brave lyn. The +HP/-Def Morgan(F) looks to lose to all of them without even firing off a shot.

It really depends on your build. I personally built her as a counter mage tank who can also double sword units with swordbreaker. I had a spare dist def fodder for her A skill and goad fliers because I use her in flier team. I don't really recommend salvaging her def to tank ranged physical units, especially bows even with Iote Shield. I think being a red check and a counter mage is her best role.

Well, Def is a superbane so that's a -4 but it's also so low that salvaging it doesn't seem practical. HP is a superboon so it more or less makes up for the bane and sticking to what she's good at (tanking magic) would seem a better plan than trying to force her into mixed tank role when it's not absolutely necessary (you have a choice of IVs).

Of course who you plan to use her with affects it too. But ultimately I'm also saying +HP -Def. Mine is +Def -Res by the way and I often wish she wasn't.
