Which IV is better for Karel?

I have both +Atk/-Res and +Spd/-Def I don't know what IV would be better. 49/35 (25 def) vs 46/38 (22 def)

Any advice for this edgy boi? (sorry if my english is not perfect.)

+atk/-res is the better IV as Karel isn't meant to take magical damage anyway and the +atk would only benefit his offensive potential.
