Which Ike is better?

So I managed to pull another Ike on the Christmas banner. My current Ike is -hp +def and the new one I pulled is +attack -def. Which Ike should I keep? Or should I just merge them together?

While defense is important to Ike, Im pretty sure that +Atk is more important since Ike typically only needs to sirvive one Hit then Vantage his way through everything else anyways. But I havent used Ike so I'm not too sure.

depends of what you run on him. The +def would be great for quick riposte. The -def would be better off with vantage. both are viable but it just depends on how you want to use him. The +atk is great for player phase and the +def is good for baiting, and like i said quick riposte is nice on that

If you run Heavy Blade, then +Atk is much better. I prefer +SPD but, the Attack is what procs Heavy Blade. You could run Vantage with -Def. If you like Quick Riposte, then stick with +Def.

Keep the +Atk. Heavy Blade, Vantage, Threaten Atk works splendidly to compensate, and you can patch him up further with a Sacred Seal if you're worried.
