Which Hardin?

I would think +Res/-Def would be better since his speed stat isn't really all that important considering he has Bold Fighter.

+res is better than +spd

Considering the fact he natively comes with Brazen Def/Res, you'll want +Res/-Def. This way, he'll be quite hard to take down.
