Which Brave Hector?

I have a level 40 neutral Hector and a level 1 -hp +def Hector. My lv 40 Hector only inherited Pivot, so I won’t really lose anything but a bunch of level up crystals.

I'd go for neutral. An HP bane affects his ability to tank magic if needed, which is something you probably don't want.

Neutral.

The extra Def is not worth losing magic bulk by lower his HP. If you want B!Hector to be more tanky, pair him alongside an armored ally with Ward Armor (from a 4 star Draug) or Fortify Armor (from a 4 star Sheena).

nooo! Don't listen to them. +Def/-Hp is one of the best IV spreads for Hector. -Spd would be better, but you really want the Def superboon which pushes him to 175 BST.

Yes, the -HP hurts his magical bulk, but he is so slow that he gets doubled anyway so he relies more on his Res than his HP, so -HP is preferred over -Res.

I don’t really care much about arena scoring since I just hover between tier 18 to 19. More Hp might save him due to longer threshold on Maltet, and he already has Even Res wave, ward armor support and ally support. I might get more lv up crystals but for now I only have enough for one unit. The Hector I don’t use will probably be foddered for Bold Fighter on Jakob.
