Which Blue Merge Next?

I'm torn between Nowi and Effie as my next blue merge project so I'm seeking to be persuaded one way or the other. The builds I'm planning are below. Any comments on movesets is appreciated.

Also note I'm not building for a specific predetermined team, these are just units I like and want to build.

I think Berkut's lance (res) with VF would work better on Effie honestly especially if you're running DC, the extra 11 res would bring her up to a nice 37/38 in her Defense's, other than that wouldn't it be better to run Brave Lance if you are running BF, sure you lose out on the refinment's aka score but Effie quad attacking someone just down right obliterat anything seeing she would activate Ignis every time she attacks

My unmerged Effie does have both Brave and Berkut's lances already so I can play around. There's no doubt both can serve her well.

As to the Brave and the Bold, with a Slaying Lance against a melee unit, her second hit has Ignis which won't leave much standing while mages tend to be a little squishy so she may not need an Ignis, that's my theory at least. The Slaying Lance also gives her better enemy phase output as, assuming she's doubled, her second hit would also have Ignis.

I grappled with this same decision myself about a month ago. Both units with the same IVs you posted. I first picked Effie because she kills so good, but then reversed my decision and went with Nowi for survivability.

I had trouble with Effie surviving because she gets doubled by almost everyone (I was using VF) and has the armor mobility issues that need to be worked around if she needs to get out of range of an enemy. Fast Nowi, even with speed in the mid 30s, prevents doubles from enough enemies that she survives very well.

Just my experience.

That's the same reasoning I'm grappling with, I'm leaning to Nowi because of surviability but Effie is so deadly. I'll end up doing both eventually and the rate I get units I'm merging I should just start both now, I started Camilla 3 months ago and I've gotten 2 since then.
