Which BK build

Playing as F2P so I don't have spare B'Ike's or Nephenees (or even at all).

So I have 2 possible builds for him:

Fury+Vantage:

Weapon: Alondite
Assist: Reposition
Special: Black Luna
A slot: Fury 3
B slot: Vantage 3
C slot: Threaten Speed

Quick riposte build:
A slot: Steady stance 3
B slot: Quick riposte 2
C slot: Threaten defense

Which build would work better on him.

Quick riposte if you’re planning on keeping his hp high and building your team around him, Fury+Vantage if you plan on letting him take damage and using him to draw fire dying the enemy phase.

You don't need to have a team dedicated to him to run QR decently. He can more often than not take an attack and still have enough in the tank for at least one more (assuming it isn't magic or strong Blues). Having someone with Ardent Sacrifice/Reciprocal Aid + Desperation isn't exactly what you mean, as their goal is synergetic.

I see your point. I was merely speaking from personal experience. My BK team is an enemy phase team based primarily around buffing the Black Knight to the point where he can tank everything but Heavy Lance+, Blárblade/Blárblade+ and Dire thunder.

Not counting any buffs that BK could receive, the QR build is probably the more reliable option in the arena.
